RE appt update... (x-posted)

Here's the short version...
To summarize, we are going to do a laparoscopic surgery followed by more, stronger medicine (with the addition of yet another medication (Menopur) as well). His concern is that my ovary is just not very functional. We're not blaming it completely on my ovary yet but that's the way it is looking at this point. So basically we are pulling out all the stops to try to make my ovary work once we start medication again. And if that doesn't work our only option is IVF, which is not an option for us, so essentially TTC w/ MA is over if Follistim + Menopur doesn't work.

I hope it all goes smoothly and you get your BFP. Do you mind if I ask why IVF is out? Just curious. I hope you don't ever need it and it just happens for you.

Well, other than the money issue, I just think that if we have to do IVF then it is time to seriously consider adoption at that point since they are both equally expensive & I think adoption is, for us, probably a better use of our money but I also will do what I feel God wants us to do which I have ALWAYS felt like God called us to do injectables & I've always thought injectables WOULD work so if, after prayer, I feel that He is calling me to do IVF I would but I think adoption at that point might be the better way to go for us but IDK... we shall see what the Lord has planned, I guess.

I think you've got things planned out pretty good. I have a friend who decided to adopt after trying for 5 years. A year after she adopted her little boy, she found out she was pregnant and had a beautiful little girl. I hope you get your bfp and won't have to worry about what to do anymore. Hang in there.
