Ok ladies,
So as some of you know this is our first cycle with our fertility dr since our loss . I have been doing FSH injections since day 3, it has just turned into day 7. My RE would only give me meds up till yesterday as I see him later today and he wants to check my estradol levels and do an ultrasound before he gives me any more meds to see if I need more or less .. Last time I did the same protocol with the meds except for the fact the the DR that time did not check my estradol levels... I am not exactly sure what that means??!! What will this blood test tell him? Last time I did a cycle, I went in on day 3 , back in on day 7 to check progress ,back on day 9 to get the trigger shot and CD 10 was the IUI . I have PCOS and ovulation issues ... For some reason this DR is waaay more expensive then the last cycle I did.. I was wondering if we should try timed BD this cycle ? I mean.. We tried on our own for awhile, tried timed BD with clomid.. All BFns.. but only 1 of those times did we know that I ovulated as we were not always gettign the day 21 test done . So then when we started with the RE, we did clomid ( evil evil at 200mg dose ) and HMG/fsh injections every other day , got 1 single follicle, trigger shot.. BFN that was also with timed BD . Thn we did a cycle with low dose HMG injections everyday ,trigger shot and timed BD= BFN . Then my dr said we coudl do it my way, FSH injections everyday from CD 3 to CD8 , nothing but the trigger on CD 9 and IUI on CD 10.. Got our BFP with twins , whem I lost.. but.. I did get pregnant with the IUI . My husband's Sperm count is normal to above average and the RE said he was very happy with it post wash as well ( which made hubby strut like a peacock the rest of the night ) So ours is not a male factor issue.. mainly my not ovulating ... but I am wondering if having 3 eggs instead of one egg gave us the boost we needed to get pregnant ? So I am just a little on the fence as to wether or not we should do the IUI.. . First time was a charm last time.. maybe my CM is not awesome and that slows his swimmers... I so do not knwo what to do.. and I am super duper scared that my overies are being stingy and not making enough follicles ooorrrr making to many.. Please calm me down and give me some hope??? Thanks guys, sorry again for my ranting

I don't have any advice, but I wanted to give you and tell you that I'm praying this is your cycle!

I don't know much about everything you're doing but if it were me, I would go with what I know works, especially if I'm paying more for it.
Good luck! I hope this is your cycle.

I don't have any experience, but I think if it were me, I would weigh the financial costs. If you do a non-IUI cycle, and get a BFN, is it a huge financial burden to do an IUI cycle? Or would an additional IUI cycle be no big deal financially? Or if you feel that the IUI really did the trick and it doesn't add much cost to the cycle, just go for it! I hope you're able to decide

I dont know anything about it. But since your already taking the meds I would go ahead with the IUI because it doesnt cost that much more.
