Okay, so I've been playing with names since I was 7 when my baby brother was born. Of course, none of the names I've actually used were ones I came up with before meeting Matt. lol

Anyway, with us anticipating us TTC I'm spending a lot of time thinking about names. If it's a girl, her middle name with be Reine (pronounced like wren, the french word for 'queen'). My sister that was stillborn was Bethany Reine, and I've wanted to use it for a long time (but was too freaked out to use it for Erin. I'll explain why if you want me to, lol).

If it's a boy I really like Gareth. It was one of my picks for Patrick, but I couldn't talk Matt into it.

As far as a first name for a girl, and a middle name for a boy, I don't have any firm choices yet. The middle name needs to start with an R though (family tradition), and for the first name for the girl, to fit with Cora and Erin it should have 4 letters and 2 syllables. (Patrick and Gareth are still 2 syllabes...hehehe)

I am liking Aria a lot. Aria Reine...the queen of melody. And we could call her Ari. I like that.

Too bad Matt won't talk about it until we're actually pregnant AND know the gender. *sigh*

I have always loved names too. I always ask people their kid's names. Like you, my hubby won't talk about it until we know the gender. But I like to throw names out earlier. He will usually shoot me down. But we have a boy's name picked out for our next one. And the girl's is fairly picked. We have gotten a lot of crap from family/friends because our girl's name is not in the 'norm'. But I don't care

Girl: Elliott Caroline (Ellie)
Boy: Kieran Patrick

We used to talk about it all the time. DH would even bring up names out of the blue before we even got pregnant. Now since the loss he never mentions anything and neither do I. I think of names but we never talk about it.

I'm like you Becca. I think about it, all the time--but never talk to DH about it. We used to joke around with names before the loss but, even with it I still think about them.

Boy: Roman Reed, Luka Kent, or Beckham Reed (Reed is the name of my grandmothers baby who was stillborn at 24 weeks. Kent is my dad's middle name)

Girl: Seraphine Eve, Tempe Quinn, or Maya Eve (Eve is my stepmom's middle name)

Le Sigh.

I still talk about names every now and then.. We have had our little girl name since Elijah and that is Illiana Rose, but now I know alot of Illiana's so I don't think we will be using that... I have been thinking about another boy name since we don't have that picked out yet..

Brittany I think that girl name is adorable.. The boy name is not bad either, and I am LOL your DH is so much like mine.. He won't tlak about names yet either.. LOL
