I couldn't really find much about this online...Is it okay to use expired sticks? I've been using the same box that came with my monitor that was already opened, and it expires this month...I didn't want to open my new box till I finished this box...Well i'm on CD 13 now, and still no high reading on my monitor...I got a high reading on CD 11 back in June, which was also my first cycle after my miscarriage...Well today I took an OPK and it was fairly dark, not positive, but half way at least...I took another one later tonight, and same, it's dark (after they have been VERY negative)...I mean if my OPK's are that positive, then I should have a high reading on my monitor...I wonder if it's because the sticks expired this month? I have I Think 6 more left and if I still don't have a High/peak reading after those sticks are gone, i'm going to just give up using the monitor this cycle...Since i'm not TTC I guess it doesn't matter...I just wanted to keep track of my cycle before TTC.

I dont know about the sticks expiring but I do know my first month using my monitor it never gave me a high or peak reading at all but my OPK's gave me a + and even had the smiley face. I think they have a mind of their own at times. I wish I have a better answer for you, maybe one of the other ladies that have been using it longer does.

I dont have an answer for you but I can totally empathize with you. My test sticks expire this month as well and I have not gotten a high reading yet either. I consistantly get a high reading on cd10 or cd11. Well here I am cd11 and still on low. Maybe thats good, since my follie still needs to grow a bit!! Ill let you know if my monitor gets to high with these Oct exp. sticks.

I got a PEAK reading this morning!!! So very weird lol

I knew right away it would be because the line was really dark...It's just so weird, last time I used the monitor (and got pregnant BTW), I had a normal pattern, a couple high days before like 2 peak days, then back to low...Is it normal to go from low to peak?

Oh it's going to be so so so very hard not to BD...Right when I saw it, I thought oh wow we need to get busy, then I remembered i'm not ttc yet

I've used expired tests on my cbefm before and they worked just fine. They were like over a year expired too (they were free with the monitor).

I got a peak reading this morning too! I'm on cd 17 (I've been Oing late since my 2nd m/c). I'm in the same boat as you, we're not ttc this month either. It sucks!!!! I told dh that I got a peak reading and he said NO! We're not trying this month!! Geeze!!

I still havent reached high on the monitor! But Im almost positive I O'ed sometime last night/ early today. So who knows, Ill be having another ultrasound tomorrow morning so I guess we will see how accurate this monitor of mine is!
