Hi everyone. I'm Joni, wife to Joel and mom to Jordana (3 yrs) and Jacoby (18 months) Joel and I thought we were done having kids but we had a surprise pregnancy in August. We both warmed up to the idea of baby #3 right away but lost that baby at 10 weeks due to a heart problem the baby had. The doctor assured us the odds of that happening again are no higher than any other couple's odds. Joel has been super supportive and even though we hadn't planned number 3, he told me that if I wanted to try again, we could  I'm leaning toward trying so I'll be hanging out here! Right now I'm waiting for the HCG to go down to zero after our loss on Oct 1st. I'm still getting positive pregnancy tests. Once it's down to zero and the HPTs are negative, I'll break out the OPKs  Can't wait to meet everyone and see lots of BFPs while I'm here!

Welcome Joni,
I'm sorry that you're here tho  never gets easier seeing, meeting new members... It means another lady has lost the precious life of their little one. I'm very sorry for your and dh's loss. Do hope that you health both emotionally and physically quickly as well as being blessed with your rainbow baby.

Hi Joni - so sorry to hear about your loss! I remember you from the May DDC as well. My natural m/c was on 9/27 and I'm still waiting for my hcg to reach 0 too. I've read that with natural m/c (not sure if you had a natural or a d&c....), it can take a few weeks for that to happen. Good luck to you and hope to see you with a sticky BFP real soon!

I remember you too! Maybe our rainbow babies will be in the same DDC again

Natural. My HCG was 19,000 the day of the m/c and 4,000 3 days later. I'm still getting positive test a week later but they're fading. Hoping it won't be much longer. You'll have to join Ava's mom and I in our "May group now due in ___"

Hello,
I also remember you from the May 2011 ddc. I had my loss on 9/29 and d&c on 9/30. Looks like many of our babies are up there together.
