Ok, I've done a little research and I've found answers both ways, so I figured I'd ask you ladies.

As you know, it's pretty much fall, and it's starting to get cooler. (It's actually very frustrating here, because it's still hot enough during the day here that the ac needs to be on, it gets cold enough at night that we should probably turn on the heat, but I just turn off the ac, and figure that our body warmth and blankets will be enough, and then in the earlier morning hours turn on the heat for an hour or two just to get the house up to temp) My question is, is this:

Will my temps be different if I wake up cold/hot? Or if I get cold in my sleep, etc. If so what should I do to help change this? I wake up around the same time every day (give or take an hour) stick the BBT in my mouth, sometimes roll over and go back to bed, and sometimes get up.

Anyone know?

From my own experience, this is what I've noticed.
I can be really hot or really cold and it won't affect my BBT. However, if I wake up more than 30 minutes different, it will be a little higher or lower depending on if it's before or after. If I wake up and find that my mouth was open, I have to close my mouth for a few minutes before taking it too or it will be REALLY low. I think everyone is different though. Some people can jump up and down, brush their teeth and use the bathroom and it won't affect it. Others can't have an extra blanket on their bed or it messes everything up.

I'm not sure...I've only tempted a couple of times, and both cycles I got pregnant on...One cycle was in winter, and the next in June, and both my charts look almost exactly alike...I guess that wasn't much of a help...The fertility charting board usually knows a lot about temping and charting.

I always hold my thermometer in my mouth for a little while so that it doesn't affect things if the thermometer is cold. Sticking cold metal in your mouth can cool your mouth down for a teeny bit until your body warms it up.

it's been quite a bit colder here in the mornings. I still get a shift in my chart, but my charts are generally cooler temps. Unlike Rebecca though, I never get up at the same time and it doesn't seem to have a huge impact on my charts.

I hold mine in my hand for a while for the same reason. A cold thermometer can throw me off. Like Rebecca, if I notice that I had my mouth open (or if I had a ridiculously low temp) I will doze for another 10 minutes and retake it. Me being hot or cold or waking up at the exact same time doesn't really seem to matter.
