Clearblue Easy Digital Test

Ladies...I feel like an idiot! I bought the CBE digital ovulation test, thinking there were refill sticks I could use in the "base." But I can't seem to find them anywhere. Am I mistaken in thinking this was a reusable device? It came with the seven sticks, but then says to throw away the digital reader. What?? Why make an ejectable digital test if you can't refill those little sticks?? Am I missing something, or is that basically all it is? Just a weeks worth of digital ov tests. Growl. I had been using the combo pack, which was fine. I could always tell when I was ovulating with the lines. But I was trying to pick something up for a long-term device. But I guess this was not what I thought it was. Is there anything I can use in there instead?? I am just trying to figure this thing out

Actually the fertility monitor sticks work in the digital reader believe it or not! It did for me and I happen to have both

So look up CBEFM test sticks

I just buy a new 20 pack when I need it and throw the old holder away and start using the new one.

Thanks ladies!! I think I will check out the CBEFM sticks, since I bet they will be the cheapest. I also did not know they came in 20 packs with the CBE digital. I once bought the 20pack from First Response and was not pleased that they had to be used in a month from opening the package. I was sorta trying to buy in bulk since I use about 8 a month...so I thought it would last a couple months. But I had to throw half of them away

Really you threw them out? The box does say that, but I kept the ones I didn't use and used the them the next month and still got positives right around O time on the temp confirmation.. I think if you keep the bottle sealed when not using them it would be fine.. Best of luck to you..

I did throw them out. I thought it would affect how they worked, but I guess I should have just used them anyway. I don't temp (yet), so I had no other verification of if the tests were accurate (minus CM, which is not too reliable on me). I guess I will not do that in the future. But I just ordered some CBEFM ones on Amazon. They were not too bad. Plus until the end of the year you can use health savings to buy this stuff. In 2011...you can't. I am stocking up now!!
