So ladies, just wanted to give you a quick update ,
We went in for our scan today , the RE said I had at least 5 follies , possibly a couple more , so we triggered . I only had 3 last times and I got pregnant with twins but lost them both by 10 and a half weeks . My E2 levels were great, LH was low so we had to trigger .. the only down side is that my uterine lining was pretty thin ... He said they like to see a 10 or more but between 7 and 8 would work too , anything under 7 they would advise against doing the IUI . Mine was 7.4 . He gave me progesterone supp for 16 days at 200mg 1x a day, he said that may help my lining thicken and lower the possibility of another loss . My question is did any of you ever have a uterine lining that was on the thin side and still get a BFP? He said mine was not ideal but that there was still a decent chance it would work and he is one of those DR's who will tell you what you chances are honestly and advise you against doing IUI/IVF if the hormone levels, uterine lining or follie count is not going to work for you at all . I know my lining last time was not awesome, still it was a little thicker then it was this time so I am kind of nervous .. but he said it was enough for implantation.. just that they have a higher success rate at 10 or more . Does anyone have any advice? or experience with this? Will the progesterone suppositories help it thicken before implantation??? thanks so much in advance for your support !!

I have no idea on the uterine lining because I have never had the trigger or anything like that, but I will say that my hopes and prayers are with.....come on bfp.....we want to see it! Good luck!

My Dr said that they like to see the lining at least 6mm, anything more is good. I think all Drs differ a little bit. I want to wish you luck!! What were the size of your follies? I dont know anything about progesterone thickening the lining, Im still pretty new to the size and levels of everything, sorry.

THey were all above 18mm I believe, I think 4 were 20-25 and one was 18 but I am pretty sure there was a 16.5 and a 17mm as well which can also produce an egg that can be fertilized .. I sure hope so.. We would be happy with one healthy baby two would be a huge blessing !!
