Hey Ladies,
I haven't been posting anything lately so this might be a long one (novel like). My husband and I had some trouble earlier this year (struggles with a lot after our loss of our son) and his work environment had gone to dumps (double morale and one-ups between managers) so he quit his job in the middle of March this year. We have operated on my income all this time with a little boost from taking money out of his 401k to cover some bills. He has been actively searching and applying for jobs all this time and now have hit "jack-pot" from a job interview done in July and he is starting sometime next week as all important documents needed were found and given to the appropriate person at that company. A moment of gods hands moving all puzzle peices to the right spots for this to happen.
Another miracle and god event (I beleive in this) when we were travelling back from a whitewater rafting trip (fun trip for us) until after a switch of drivers happened. My husband had driven several hours and got tired. I was tired and my body was sore from the rafting so another person was driving. We were on 1-81 going north in South west VA and the driver was switching lanes and at some point drifted to the left and re-adjusted to quick and to much so we went to the right and I think two wheeling, went into the ditch on the right and hit a boulder or a stone that stuck out. We went car flying (flipped) and then rolled a few times. The grace and protection of God was there for sure as all of us in the vehicle walked away with small cuts and bruises. Based on what other people saw from what was our vehicle after this that most people would have been worse off than what we were at that time. We did spend some hours at the nearby hospital and all got cleared to leave later that evening. We got picked up by very good friends.
We have tried to get PG since the beginning of the year and nothing so far. I even started 50mg of clomid back in July and have gone thru 3 cycles of that and nothing so far. I had a blood draw to check my progesterone level on Sept 13th and yesterday I found that my level was 6.7. I do not know if this is normal or that my ovulation is still not strong enough. Could any of you give me some input on this?
Anyway I am doing really good and appreciate the support I am getting here.

Lovisa, I'm so glad your DH found a job!! That is such exciting news And how amazing for you all to walk away from that crash with no injuries!!
As for the progesterone, do you know that the draw was done at 7 dpo, or was it done on a specific day of your cycle? The draw should be done on 7 dpo, with ovulation indicated by a positive OPK or a temperature rise. Different doctors like to see different levels to indicate a strong ovulation, mine looks for over 12, so yours is a little low. But if it wasn't done on the right day, that can throw it off.

Nicole the blood draw was on CD21 and the cycle was about 28 days long. I don't do temp or OPKs.

Well, in a 28 day cycle, CD21 should be about 7 dpo, so your level does seem a little low. I would guess that you didn't ovulate or that you had a weak ovulation and that your doctor would want to increase your dose of Clomid.

Wow...what a year you have had. I am so glad for the new job for dh and that you both walked away from your accident. What a blessing that was. I hope and pray you get that bfp soon and am glad to see you back...

Im glad to see you back Lovisa. It seems to me that God has been watching over you and Gus this year, allowing you struggles to help you grow, and yet keeping you safe. I believe you will be blessed with a little one, you are on the right track! Good luck with getting your bfp soon!

Thank you ladies. Yes it has been a year of trials but we withstood the temptation to give in and throw in the towel. We are moving forward and focusing on our future rather than looking at our past.
