So I went for my amnio today, they did an ultrasound first, then the genetic counseler came in. She said that the ultrasound looked so good that she think I could hold off on the amnio. instead I am going in for an ultrasound every 4 weeks and if they see any structural problems they'll suggest an amnio. I am going to have the baby's cord blood tested at birth (if an amnio is never needed) so we know what his chromosomes are like.
My due date has been moved up again, I am now due on April 11th instead of the 14th!
It's a BOY! A tech and two doctors announced that he's a boy without me even asking!
