Hi all! My name is Brittany, I am 23 yrs old, and I have a 4 yr old little girl.

I am new here, kinda, I was on JM back in 2006 when I was pregnant with my daughter, and I will admit ... I was addicted! I got pregnant again in 2008. I found out a week and 2 days before my period was even supposed to start. I wasn't trying to get pregnant at that point, but I was walking around walmart and felt a twinge in my nipple, so I bought a test real quick and went in the bathroom and took it... I was a no doubt really bright positive. A month later I started bleeding, I went to the ER and they told me I was having a miscarriage. For some reason they wouldn't do a D & C, I walked around for a week with my child inside me. It was the worst time I have ever been through. Then I finally passed the mass, and I cried. I found out I was having a miscarriage on September 23rd, 2008. So just over 2 years ago. And ever since then on August 26th, September 23rd and May 5th (the due date) I sink into a pit of depression. I thought I would be over it by now but I am not.

Anyway, back to present time. my DF and I have decided to try again. I had my IUD removed today, and they said we could try immediately. I am going to start taking Folic Acid, and Evening Primrose oil to try and help everything along. My DF wants a boy (he has a almost 16 yr old girl) so we are going to try the gender swaying. We will see how it all goes.

Welcome to the board and back to JM . It is rather addicting. I have a hard time with my loss dates and due dates as well. I just had a 1 year anniversary for my first loss. Well not just but not to long ago.
I hope you and your DF are able to conceive quickly and have a happy and healthy pregnancy. Good luck on getting a girl.

Sorry about your loss Strange, with the baby I lost I had a super dark positive test a good week before AF was due AND that baby was due May 5th too.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I just had my first loss on 9/29 and its been terrible to deal with.

I am sorry for your loss... It has been over 1 1/2 years since my first loss and it still hurts. I understand what you are going through. I hope you get pregnant fast! Welcome back to JM.
