Anyone ever take one?

a pack of FRER's that I bought last month came with a free one...I took it today and it seems to be normal...I don't know why it worries me...What are everyone else's feelings on this test?

You are CD2 so it should be accurate. I have high FSH (confirmed by bloodwork at the RE) and when I took the FRER one it came back high as well.

So this is good news for you!!

I took one last month. It makes me nervous even knowing it was fine. I think if it were high, I'd want to get blood work done to confirm it. I had my levels tested in Nov and I still don't know what they mean though. The Dr just said it was normal. I tried reading them again and it got me all worried. I think they give those tests away just to make us all worry more. As if worrying over a pg test isn't enough.

Just thought I'd add a comment, as I have used this before too. I took one in the middle of last year, came back "light" result, meaning good FSH. Took one 3 months later and it was darker, but still lighter than the control line. My FSH was tested by the dr. the following month, and it was high, 14.3. Some months it can be higher than others, but once diagnosed with high FSH, it doesnt matter when you have a month where it is lower.....but the good news??????? I conceived 2 months later and just gave birth 2 months ago!! I will be 40 in 2 months, after three losses in one year.

Moral of the story, RE's hate this test, and do not recomend it all......its just something that the First Response makers are making a ton of money on, because they know how much women like us like to POAS!!

Personally I think this test is the devil. I took one back in July and it came back "almost high" (test line was almost as dark as the control), and I freaked out about it all month. Then I got a BFP in August, and even though it ended in a loss, I A) obviously still have eggs left and B) one of those eggs was able to get fertilized!

I think it's better to get this kind of test done at the doctor, which is what I will do if I have concerns in the future. So don't worry about the test results!! GL!
