What is going on with my body!? AF SHOWED

Ladies, normally I get af first thing in the morning, or discover it first thing, between cd24 or overnight on cd26. Never into the day on cd27. So here it is cd27 at almost 6pm and I have this

really slippery mucus with pink streaks and my cervix is aching. Obviously af is knocking at the door, but what the heck is this mucus crap? Its just like some amazing ewcm, only obviously its not. Normally af announces herself by opening a floodgate. No warning at all. This cycle is MESSED up.
Do you think its something to do with the hsg? I O'ed a few days later than normal, I assume from the hsg, maybe this is because of that as well.
What do you think?
Any other ideas?

Ugh, Tobi... I'm sorry your body isn't doing what you want it to

On your charts, it looks like you get AF between 13 dpo and 15 dpo, so I would count on that, which would be the next couple of days. With my irregular cycles, I got so used to planning for AF based on the number of dpo. Plus, you're still early enough that AF staying away could be an amazing thing!

Nicole, you make total sense. Im not sure that works for me though... Ive found that when I have a late O, (lol I mean 'late' for me) it usually just cuts my lp shorter, never longer than a 26 cycle, and Ive tracked the last 10 cycles. I need to stop stressing about this dont I? Sometimes things happen that make no sense and we just carry on, right?
Missy, I seriously cant bring myself to test today. Pink mucus, af feeling, temp drop ... But I love your optimistic attitude. You are keeping that little glimmer alive, which helps me to think I dont need to test today, If it happens to eventually be a bfp Ill see it tomorrow or the next day lol. Heck, maybe thats part of the reason I am resisting testing, cause if I do then Im forced to see its just my body being screwy, and not any GOOD reason!

Anyway, hon, I am trying not to push POAS to you because I know what it's like when you're convinced AF is on the way and you're just waiting around for her to show her ugly old face. Missy I can honestly say that if my temp hadnt dropped Id have been testing as well, Ive prided myself on my poas addiction!

And Nicole, you are absolutely right. In that we slam doors and every other thing you listed! I think that Ive reached that hopeless point, where I feel unable to do anything. So I close into myself, and dont do anything. So I can close myself off from it. Its avoidance, a delay of the truth. So I say the words, walk the walk so to speak and hope that the hurt thats there doesnt show. See I told you. Im 'unstable!'

(and thats the smile to hide behind...)

If feeling numb and pretending you're okay just to make it through the day is unstable, then somebody lock me up and throw away the key

(and there is my laugh, even though it's not funny at all) Sometimes it just hurts too much to try to see the forest for the ****

Tobi I am sorry hun.. I don't know anything about the mucas thing, but I know in my two wk wait the only time I was really wet during it was when I was pregnant.. I am keeping everything crossed that this is it for you.. I also wanted you to know that by no means are you unstable.. I totally do the same thing.. I think that is why I refused to let myself cry and grieve.. I was trying to hide behind it. HUGS HUGS HUGS.. We love ya girl.. Hang in there..

Right on Nicole! So true! Half of the time i'm surprised that our DH's haven't put us in an institution yet! Though it would be and experience if we were all locked up in the TTCAL mental ward! I would probably put myself in there if you ladies were gonna be there! Though, our wallets would suffer! We would be POAS on anything we could find or buy, with all of us pushing each other to do it!

Sorry AF showed. I think it's just because it's Halloween and she thinks she has to make an appearance to scare everyone away.
I tried to get admitted to a psych ward once but they wouldn't take me. It seems there were too many people in line in front of me and they were too full. Who ever heard of a psych ward being too full? So I didn't get my much needed vacation.
November will be our month.
