Today has been one of those days... CD1, I was supposed to go see MUSE tonight and I sold my ticket/hotel room instead (haven't felt up to going the past week) anyways DH n I have been out & out running errands, grabbed a sammy n went to visit a friend of his (piercer). Well we had 2 dermal implant pieces of jewlery and asked if he'd do them for us. So we each got a dermal piercing... something to kinda perk me up.
was going to get my ears stretched a little more too, but couldn't find the jewlery I wanted. Yes I'm stretching my bottom ear piercing because about 7yrs ago Collin ripped my earing down and so my hole is permenantly larger about an 8 gage so I'm going to stretch them both out not sure how far and get the hallow plugs to put in then hoops thru those. Maybe some organic wood jewlery as well. IDK, once I'm tattooing it won't matter WHAT I have on me or where it is unlike while I'm cooking.
OMG I just got an email about "my 5 week old" WTH?!

I hate those emails. Hate them. I never signed up for anything like that with Erin and Patrick because getting them after Cora died was so hard on me.
Cool jewelry though. I didn't know they did things like that. lol
I'm on cd 1 too. We're cycle buddies!

Nice Rack...oh and nice jewels too. <LOL
I hate those emails. Everytime I get pregnant I sign up for some sort of pregnancy blog/newsletter. and then I MC and can't remember which ones i signed up for and one always makes it thri to my inbox before i get to cancelling them all. I hope it didn't ruin your day.

What a fun piercing! So pretty!
Those emails are awful (I can't bring myself to cancel mine, though, and now I am getting emails about my 6 month old... LOL I am a masochist)

I am afraid to ask, but what holds the piercing in? I hate those emails, they hurt so much. I have called Enfimil 4 times and told them I lost my baby but still get mailings. I got one a few months ago "congratulations your baby has reached the 6 month milestone"....

Mine were the enfamil mailings too. The first one (with "cuddling your one month old" on the front) came ON Cora's one month birthday. I called every month for 6 months, and it wasn't until that 6th time when I yelled at the guy that my baby had DIED and thanks for rubbing it in every month that they finally stopped.

I've totally gotten unsubscribed from all the other ones from previous pregnancies, but this one I don't think about it since it only comes once a month now... it uased to come weekly. IDK, maybe I'm like Nicole in that way a masochist.
Missy, there's an anchor or like a "foot"
If I ever want to remove it, it has to be more or less surgically removed... basically a tiny slit/cut into me then have it pulled out

I like the piercing...but I am ignorant too....so can you change the outer piece to something else once in a while? Or do you have to keep that stone? Just wondering....and I agree ....nice rack!

 lol y'all make me giggle
Julie ya I can change the jewel it screws off, after the healing time (which I have no clue about, was running on a little adrenaline lol)
Tobi I probably wouldn't have done it if I put tons of thought into it... I've always wanted one, dh bought the jewlery the other day and me being sorta down it perks me up in a way to get something done. Preferrably more ink tho lol

Celena that looks great... I don't know if I could ever get that done though.. I got the angel's memorial tattoo after my loss and it perked me up.. I love it.. I got my belly button pierced when I turned 19 so it has been a while, but I kind of like that.. Maybe I will look into it.. What do they do to install that should I say.

Thanks hee hee Amy (wolf whistle)
Lindsey... they use this biopsy "needle" and kind twist it back n forth to create the little hole where they insert it. They usually kinda massage the spot prior to seperate the skin from the fatty layer of skin, nothing crazy. It sorta hurts don't get me wrong, but less then my nose did. Today there's no swelling, no redness and no crustiness nothing. Looks like it's been there for months. They are allot less maintainence than other piercings and easy to take care of.

Love the piercing!!!
I get those emails too. My heart aches as I read about how my baby would be growing, and then I delete it
When I was pg, I signed up for the american baby magazines. I canceled the subscription after the loss, but continue to get the mags...and tons of other mailings.

Ohh, I love it! I've been wanting a dermal for awhile now, I'm just not sure where.
And I agree, those emails can really be crappy to receive! :[
