So tonight we went out trick or treating and then ended up at DH's bff's house (his wife and I are friends) She's the one we were due very close together this past march but DH n I lost our little bean... anyways to make a long story short it didn't phase me to hold her DD, it didn't bring any animosity of why did I have to lose our babe, NOTHING! Not a tear, not anxiety, not sadness, not anger to life, nada!
There comes a point where I think we're healing... there's those days where we're still grieving n raw... tonight was one of those better days of healing and peace of heart.

That's great Celena
I'm feeling the same way...When I lost Ella my niece was also pregnant, due 2 months before me...It's been very very hard to see her baby....I've only seen him a couple times, and one time I had to take some medication and I still cried...Ella would of been just about the same age as him...We would of dressed her up and taken her out trick-or-treating this year with us...Today we went to my mom's house and they were all there, and I find it easier now to be around him...I still haven't held him (I Don't want to hold another baby in my arms till it's my own, weird, but it's just how I feel)....But I can look at him now and not feel sadness....I think i'm in such a better place than I was...Last Halloween It was just 2 weeks after she was born, and my niece was still pregnant and met up with us trick-or-treating (to see my kids all dressed up) and it was really hard on me, and at first I ignored them and they started to walk away...it was a weird situation....So yeah, I understand

That's so great. It's a much nicer feeling when we are able to be happy for others. Sometimes it just takes more time than we think it should.

That is so wonderful! It's a great feeling! I'm not there with this one yet, but I remember getting to that point with my first two losses. It's a much more peaceful place to be!

It brings me so much happiness to hear that you are healing, to hear that most of you are in the better part of the healing.

It feels good to get to that point. I still have moments when it stings, but for the most part I look at babies and pregnant women and I am happy for them.

I finally had a moment like that with my best friend's daughter this summer. We all got together and stayed at a cabin for a couple days and I didn't once look at Katy playing with Erin and think "that should be Cora." It was just like she was playing with another one of her cousins. I didn't even realize it until after we got home.
It's nice to have those moments.

I am glad Celena that you were able to have some peace, and not tears.. I still go back and forth, but I have gotten to the point where I can hold other babies, but it still stings some too.. HUGS
