I fell in love with my DH's dimples.... the ones on his face He has really deep dimples.

This is what I love about where I live. I used to snow ski before getting married but haven't gone in a long time.


I have had a thing for twizzlers lately but I go through phases. I try to hide them here but I don't think I'm doing a very good job since there are never any there when I want them.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to sew and do crafts in general. I love to read too but I don't read as much as I used to.

what are your kid's ages, and tell us something about them.
DD 10. She has diabetes too and is the drama queen. Everything is a production with her.
DS 9. He's all boy. Loves video games and gross stuff.
DD 7. She is tall and skinny (unlike me) and thinks she is a fashion model or something. She changes her clothes 50 times a day.
DD 6. She's a minnie me. Everyone tells her how much she looks like me and of all the kids, she acts most like me too.
DD 5. The older kids all have brown hair and dark eyes (DH is hispanic) but she is blond and blue eyes. She's a sweetie and very caring. She was the baby I had a complete abruption with and we thought we lost her. She was born en caul too. I think it shows in her personality.
DD 2. She's our little pumpkin. She thinks she's all grown up and very independent.

My shoes... really?
Honestly, I hate shoes. I would go bare foot all the time if I could but when I have to wear them, I throw on this pair. Yes, that's purple paint but you can only see it with the camera flash.



This is my corner. It's right next to my sewing machines and all my fabric is behind me. It's a bit of a mess.

How old were you when you had your first kiss? First boyfriend? First date?

Tell us how you a DH met. How long have you been married? What was your wedding like? How about a wedding picture?

DH and I met online on a penpal service. DH tells everyone we did it before it was the IN thing to do. It was right before "You've Got Mail" came out and I was actually working for AOL and he messaged me one day after sending him an email, just like in the movie. We saw that movie on a date later and told everyone they stole the idea from us. We met on Thanksgiving day 12 years ago.
We married 6 months later so 11.5yrs ago.

Our wedding was not at all like I had planned. Let's just say there was a death the day before so everyone was crying at my wedding and it wasn't from happiness. I don't have too many pictures but here is one right after we were married.


Whats you families favorite thing to do together? My kids love to go swimming. We have a membership to the local pool but we don't go as much as they wished we did. I just hate swim suits.
Where did you and DH honeymoon (if you did)? We didn't have a honeymoon until 7 months later because DH had started a new job. We went to Disneyworld but we were SO broke. We ended up staying with some of DH's family for a few days. I was 19 weeks pg at the time and his grandmother thought I was 15 and got knocked up and that's why we got married. She only spoke spanish so no one had explained anything to her and when I found out what she thought I was SO embarrassed. It makes me laugh now.

Questions:
1.) What furbabies (if any) do you have and pictures please! - I don't have any right now. We keep telling the kids that we'll get them a dog when we got our fence put up but Nicole won't come do it for us so they're out of luck
2.) Your dream vacation - I've always wanted to go to Italy. It's one of those dreams that I hope will come true before I'm too old to walk around and see everything.

2.) Your favorite spot in the house - This is my spot. During the winter I flip the fireplace on and lay on the couch and watch movies. When I'm nice, I let my DH sit with me


what is your favorite Holiday? Probably Christmas although I'm so glad when it's over. Every year I say I'm going to be ready before the night before and every year I'm not.

Let's see... first not real boyfriend I was 8. We used to play kissing tag and his name was Craig and I thought he had the most gorgeous eyes. My first REAL boyfriend I just turned 15. He was also my first real kiss. I felt so guilty the whole time because I wasn't allowed to date until I was 16. So, my first date I was 16 and it wasn't the same guy. He ended up getting one of my best friends pregnant so it was probably a good thing I felt so guilty going out with him. My first real date was a girls choice dance and I ended up dating that guy off and on for 4 years.

He's from New Jersey, I'm from Utah, his parents are from Cuba and Puerto Rico.
He was out here when I met him and planning on moving back to New Jersey but decided he'd stay for me

SO, I'm guessing Dh does speaks Spanish. Have he tried to teach Spanish to the kids?
