So its been just over a month since my d&c. I'm waiting for AF to arrive again. The past few days I've had some cramping that feels like its coming, but it hasn't. This is driving me insane!!

I want to start ttc again asap. In your opinion, do you think a month is long enough for my uterine lining to repair itself and all?

I had my d&c on 9/21 and I just got AF for the first time yesterday. It took 6 LOOOONNNGGG weeks for her to return. Waiting was absolute torture!! I was wondering whether my uterine lining would be like, but with as heavy as AF is I don't think I'm as worried anymore. I hope AF returns to you soon, I know how hard the wait is!

Took me 6 weeks after all 3 D&C's. Hang in there. It will be here soon enough.

My doc told me after my d&c it could take up to 6 weeks for af to show. Mine took 3 1/2 weeks...but then again my body is an enigma. Most of the ladies that I have heard of it took them at least 4 weeks...but more like 6.....good luck and hang in there....she will show soon I am sure!

anyone else have input....should I wait for my period or begin ttc anyhow?

It took 8 weeks for my first period to show after the D&C, but my cycles are irregular and typically long anyway. Due to my cycles being so irregular, my ob/gyn actually gave us permission to actively TTC before my first period. She said that waiting is really only for dating purposes anyway. From what I've read on these boards, your body won't get pregnant until its ready.... So if you are emotionally ready, maybe go ahead and try?

Took 5 weeks for AF here.

About TTC - what does your doctor say? Did you go for a check up after your loss?

I go in for my 6 week follow up at the end of next week. She originally said to wait 2 cycles, but that seems SOOOO far away!
