I had my D&C over 3 weeks ago on the Wednesday and I am still spotting! Just look at my chart!
I was 11 weeks along (or at least the empty sac was) but c'mon why am I still spotting?? I had my follow up with my GP and he said as long as I don't have a fever or a funky smell I must be ok and that the spotting is normal. It's really not a lot.. just a couple of panty liners a day and I only have to change them for hygenic reasons, not because they get filled. BUT the doc told me don't have anymore sex until it's completely gone because a couple of times it looked like it was ending and then after BD it would come back.
I don't know why I'm writing this, other than the fact that I am really pissed off! It's a constant reminder and I can't take it anymore. Plus is it too much to ask to want to BE with my DH??

Oh Judy, I am sorry you are still spotting. How frustrating and hurtful. Did you get your HSG levels drawn? Are they going down? ((Hugs))

I'm sorry you're still bleeding! It took about 4 and a half weeks for all of my bleeding and spotting to stop. It drove me insane, because just when I thought it was over it would start again. I hope yours goes away completely soon!

I spotted for about a month after all my D&C's. I know it is hard and a constant reminder. Hang in there!

Thanks for the reassurance that it's ok..
Did any of you ovulate your first cycle after the D&C?
I'm just worried because I'm supposed to have CD3 testing next cycle but if I spot throughout this cycle until the next one, how will I know which day is CD1 or whether it's just heavier spotting?
On my CD1 I'm also supposed to call the RE to schedule a Sono, a u/s and a biopsy..
Missy, yes I'm having weekly draws. About a week and a half before my D&C it was 149,000. The day after the D&C it was 11,000, a week later, 640, and last week it was 208. So it's going down nicely they say.. I'm having another one tomorrow.

Makes much more sense to me now why you are still spotting. Your hcg levels are still pretty high. Looks like they are going down which is good but I have seen girls here that spot until they reach 0. I hope it ends soon honey.

You should ovulate once your cycle starts again after your levels reach 0.

I had some really weird things going on with my body. I could swear that I ovulated, because I had O pains and ewcm a few days when I didn't spot so much, but I was still getting faint positive hpts so I wasn't at zero yet. I'm not even sure if that's possible, but it seemed like what was happening at the time. I got my first clearly negative test after the spotting stopped (4.5-5weeks after my d&c) and I got AF one day shy of 6 weeks after the d&c. It was so confusing. I was worried about how I would know if it was AF or more spotting, but there was absolutely no mistaking it. There was no spotting telling me she was coming, she just showed up in full force on Monday morning. I hope everything works out for you! You're in my thoughts and prayers!

I had a natural m/c, but my spotting stopped the week my HSG draw was at 72 (3 weeks after the m/c). I also O'ed that week. AF showed up 11 days later, and my HSG was then undetectable.
Once my HSG got under 100, it took FOREVER to reach 0 (almost 3 weeks). My doctor said that was really normal though. Good luck, it looks like your body is on the right track, even though it seems to be taking forever!

I've been told it's normal too until your HcG reaches 0.
 Hope it all ends soon.
