This is my first month charting and we're NTNP but I wanted to chart just to see if I was ovulating again. It's looking good right?!
---------------------------------
Update: Here is my updated chart. After two days of + OPK, I have a - this morning, but no temp shift. Does that mean I didn't O? Also, the O pain I'm having was very strong on the left for five days and only mildly on the right but today it's very strong on the right and gone on the left
---------------------------------
11/10 No temp jump this morning I woke up at 6:30, took my temp and went back to sleep. Then when I woke up an hour later, I was really hot and sweaty and had the worst O pain of the whole month on my left side. I'm up now and it's still stabbing on my left side. Could I have O'd in that hour or something? Maybe I temped too soon
--------------------------------
11/11 A temp jump!! Oh and I changed one thing. On CD 16 I had a + OPK in the morning but a - OPK in the afternoon so I had marked it positive on the chart for that day since I figured the + was more important. But then I read that you should go with results at the end of the day if anything changes (like if CM changes, you mark how it was at the end) so I changed it to - for the OPK that day. Does anyone think I should change it back?
--------------------------------
11/12 We're just NTNP and I doubt we get pregnant this month. We didn't really *try* but I'm just glad to know I'm back to normal so quickly!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE: Well, you ladies were right! The 9th was O day and we caught it!!!
This was our first month NTNP after our loss in October so I'm a little nervous.
I got these positives on cheap internet tests and then we drove down to Joel's parents's house where my mother in law, father in law, my dad and my brother in law all stood with Joel and I to watch the digital flash the hourglass and then pop up with the prettiest word ever
I called my doctor and she faxed orders for bloodwork so I could get my HCG drawn there in WV rather than waiting a week until we got home. So, those who know about HCG levels, my numbers look good, right?
15 DPO - 855
17 DPO - 2072
They seem really high to me but that's a good thing right?
Anyway, It looks like we're getting our number 3 back after all.

I see it now. It doesn't look like you've O'd yet but getting really close. It's hard to tell until after the fact. You usually O 24-36hrs after a positive OPK and you'll then have a temp shift that will confirm it. After 3 high temps, then FF will give you cross hairs confirming O. I'll have to check back here in a couple days and see what it looks like. Your timing looks great though.

Update in post 1. Any ideas? Should I keep taking OPKs to watch for later O?

Sometimes I have 2 days of positive OPKs and then I O on the 3rd day, when it is negative. So I don't see the temp rise until the next day. Hoping that is what is happening for you.

Some people also have slow rises instead of an immediate jump -- maybe that's the case with you? I think that's what mine did back when I was temping.

It could be that you O'd when you felt that pain, or you could be a slow riser. You have to look at the forest through the trees so go by the OPK's then confirm with temps. That's why ff has to have 3 high temps before it will give cross hairs.

I'm sorry, it stinks when all your fertility signs don't seem to line up right away Hopefully you're just having a slow rise and you'll have a confirmed ovulation in a few days!
