Is there anything you can do or take to improve your uterine lining? I'm paranoid that if we were to get pregnant this month, that my lining may not be thick enough. Would my body just reject the pregnancy if it wasn't ready?

Sorry, this is all new to me.

I was just wondering this same thing, actually, since I'm just recently off birth control pills. I hope someone has an answer!

Last month , we did our first IUI post loss and my lining was pretty thin when we triggered (7.4) The RE said he likes to see a 10-12 but that implantation can still happen with anyting over a 6, just not as high of a chance ... For some reason he said the FSH shots helped the lining as well as progesterone supplaments . He also said that they highly recomend viagra .
For women it also increases the blood flow to the lower areas and helps to build a thicker lining .. It was kind of expensive and we opted out of taking it but we will try it next time if my lining is still to thin . I think my lining was thin because I had to have 2 d&c's after I lost the twins and the 2nd one was only about 3 months prior, so maybe my body had still not built up enough.. Needless to say it was a BFN :-( . But ask your DR about viagra :-)

Our big reason for not taking it was the DR said I would need 4 pills a day @ around 10 bucks each.... for 4 days... Now the IUI where I got pregnant with the twins it was a 12 on trigger day I think thats what he said anyway . So I know it can get thicker... but again hat was before we lost the twins and I had to have 2 D&Cs ... We have said though that we will try the viagra this time, well next IUI cycle if my lining was not where it should be ... Each IUI cycle runs 800-1300 , so adding in the Viagra would be worth it IF I need it .. I looked it up on the web and while it is a newer reatment for women it is gaining wide use in IVF .. Sooo, I hope I don't need it but at this point anything I need to do to get pregnant and carry to term I will do !!!
