I got a positive pregnant test on Sunday evening, in the morning the same day I got a negative on dollar store but at 5pm on sunday took digi and popped up PREGNANT! Fast forward to Monday morning I took my last dollar tree store test and it came up light positive at what I belive 12DPO or 9DO with the same pee took the last digital the same thing came back PREGNANT. So I went in to the hospital to get my blood drawn on Monday and got the results couple hours later and they were 37.6 which I was later told was low and should be in the thousand. I went in and got my second draw this morning and I'm waiting on the results. The head nurse printed a chart and according to the chart I'm within range so ***??
Here is what the chart says
APPROXIMATE GESTATIONAL AGE
3weeks 5.8-71.2
3-4 weeks 9.5-750
4-5 weeks 217-7,138
5-6 weeks 158-31,795
6-7 weeks 3,697-163,563
7-12 weeks 32,065-210,612
12-15 weeks 12,039-70,971
15-18 weeks 8,099-58,176
So if on Monday I was I was 12DPO that would make me 3wks 5days right and that would put me in the 3-4 week categ and I'm within limits so why are they tellling me it's low and scaring me!

You are absolutely within normal range! Im so sorry they have scared you, people should really learn to keep their mouths shut, because even when the number may seem small, the only thing that really tells you anything is the second draw to make sure the numbers are increasing appropriately! Im so angry for you!
Good luck with your results today, keep us posted

They're just used to people coming in after they've missed their period by a week. They can't tell by one draw whether it's in normal range or not. Someone that has implanted late may not even be at 20 yet. Don't listen to them, just wait for the next blood draw to see if it's doubled.

There are no twins on my side but several on dh's side. Why do you ask I would think the numbers would be much higher for twins. But before I found out I had a dream that I got my BFP and that I went in to do an u/s and there was two. Not sure if it was me or one of my friends I have alot that are expecting. If I had twins that would jump from 5 kids to 7

It's been a loooong time since TTC for me, so I'm not 100% sure of what I'm talking about, but I thought levels were good as long as they doubled in 48 hours. Those numbers are more than just doubled! Maybe they're supposed to double in 24 hours... I have a lot of reading to catch up on.

My HCG was 27 on 11dpo. and it didn't double every 48 hours, but I still have a healthy baby. Sometimes the numbers mean NOTHING!

sounds great to me!
I have to tell you my doctor's office drove me crazy with those numbers before my loss. They had me so stressed and nervous because mine were consistenly on the lower levels. I finally had to tell them that I am not getting any more blood draws. In the end, drawing my blood multiple times a week wasn't going to prevent anything bad to happen. So stressful!!

Could they maybe have been speaking about having an ultrasound? I remember when I asked for one they said I had to wait until I was over 1,000 HCG or they were to low to see anything.
Glad to hear your numbers look good!
