I just wanted to introduce myself since I'm new. This is my first cycle after an early miscarriage last month (5.5 weeks), and we're trying right away again for our third child. I'm over 35 and just don't want to wait. I'm in the tww, about 9 dpo, probably will test on Sunday or Monday.
I hate that we are all here because of loss(es), but it's nice to meet you.

Welcome!
I'm also trying right away after my first cycle. I had my first loss at the end of September and am just finishing my first cycle and will be actively ttc again in the next couple days.
Hope your stay here is short!

Hi. I'm new here and also TTC on our first cycle after a loss at 6 weeks. I'm pretty sure I ovulated right on time as I had all of my normal symptoms (times 10) and had positive OPKs followed by negative ones. It just seemed so strange to me to ovulate so soon after the bleeding stopped but my levels were back to normal. What was your experience with ovulating this month? I should be anywhere from 2-5 dpo....I really don't know for sure.

Welcome to the boards! I'm glad you posted, I actually had no idea how many of us were trying in our first cycle after a loss. My son passed away after 5 days in the NICU. I haven't had my first period yet, but I'm going to start using OPKs as soon as they come in the mail (Sat or Mon prob) and see if I can catch the eggie (if I haven't already missed it).

March 2010: BFP -- finally!
Oct. 22, 2010: Drew is born, but has to stay in the NICU because of cord complications resulting in oxygen deprivation and brain problems =(
Oct. 27, 2010: I held him in my arms while Daddy, Grandma, Great-Uncle and I sang him to sleep =( Hardest thing I've ever done...
June 14, 2011: Drew's baby brother or sister waved hi to us with a BFP!
June 25, 2011: Natural miscarriage... Can we please catch a break here?
Nov. 2011: 100mg Clomid followed by 2mg Estrogen, Ovidrel trigger, and 200mg progesterone suppositories 2x/day 14 days. BFN.
Dec. 2011: 2nd medicated cycle. BFN.
Jan. 2012: Took a month off to breathe...
Feb. 2012: Same regimen of Clomid and other meds, add IUI. 2 eggs and 8.5 million swimmers. BFN.
March 2012: 75 IU Follistim CD 3-11, follie scan CD 8 showed 6 follies likely to mature. Triggered, IUI on CD 14, 4 million swimmers. BFN.
April 2012: 75 IU Follistim CD 3-10. Scan showed 2 mature follies, 2 almost certain to mature, and two not likely but possible. (All 6 evenly and perfectly spaced out between the left and the right.) Triggered, IUI CD 13 with 5 million swimmers. BFN.
May 2012: 75 IU Follistim starting CD 3. Waiting to O. Timed intercourse. Likely 5 follies to mature.

Wow, you ladies are amazing in welcoming people!
I'm so sorry for all your losses, too. I'm glad to see some other people here are trying right away. I feel nervous about not waiting, but I haven't found any shred of real evidence that there's any danger in trying right away. No one in my real life knows we're trying except for two close friends, so it's good to have people to "talk" to and vent with.
Jenn, I ovulated a few days later than I would have expected. I usually have 31-32 day cycles, but after the miscarriage I ovulated on CD 24 (I think... my temps initially did a slow rise), and I'm now on CD 33.
Erin, I saw your post about Drew and I just bawled my eyes out. I'm so sorry. I hope you get your BFP soon, too.
