1. Fold the corner of a regular sheet of paper to the edge to square it off. Make sure you make your folds and corners as crisp and accurate as possible on all folds.

2. cut off excess

3. Fold in half

4. Fold into thirds along the long side of the triangle (coming out from the corner pointed down in previous picture. Try to get it as equal as possible.


5. Cut off excess along short end of the triangle. From here you would make cuts along all edges to make empty spaces in the snowflake (make sure to leave paper connecting both sides in enough places to keep the whole thing together.


Unfolded it looks like this (maybe it's 12 sides instead of 6?)

Great, thanks so much! I've never been that creative with these sorts of things... I could never do those nifty thing where you fold the paper a certain way and cut dolls/hearts/something into the paper, then end up with a line of connected dolls/hearts when you were done! And all my snowflakes were boring squares. haha.

i'll have to try this tomorrow!

Gave it a shot tonight with my name... didn't quite look right at all because the folds weren't even, but I'm excited to keep trying and do more things.. thanks!
