I had my progesterone levels check on cd 21 in Sept and Oct. In sept they were 8.0, and 9.6 in Oct. My Dr told me that my levels indicated I ovulated. Tonight I was surfing the net looking up TTC stuff. I found this below.

The progesterone level should be more than 15 ng/ml about 7 days after ovulation. This suggests that the corpus luteum is functioning normally. A low Day 21 progesterone levels suggests the cycles was anovulatory ( no egg was produced).

Has anyone had their progesterone levels check on cd 21 if so what where you levels?

Sorry I havent been around much this whole ttc is getting to me, and I am sinking into a dark hole.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

I totally get the feeling of sinking into a hole with all this TTC garbage I just posted basically the same thing yesterday It must be contagious. I hope you start feeling a little better about it soon.

As far as progesterone, my RE only looks for >12 for a medicated (Clomid) cycle, and for unmedicated natural cycles, I think anything over 5 indicates ovulation and over 10 a really strong ovulation. I will check around a little more, I think there was a post about it recently. But I think your numbers are ok for a natural cycle.

Were you on clomid or injectibles? If not then anything over 5 is good. My RE looked for over 15 with clomid, over 5 without. I know the hole feeling, I have been there too. ((Hugs))

I had labs done back in 09 and after ovulation mine was 10. The labs say range is 5-15 unless you are pg, then it's higher.

edit: sorry I forgot to turn my sig off
