Hi all I am new here.
I had a D&C Oct 6th (second Miscarriage but first D&C). I TTC right away did OPK's and they showed postivie Oct 30th & 31st. I have taken a couple tests and all Negative. I was expecting my period to show this weekend and it is still not here. Tomorrow is 6 weeks from the D&C.... How long did it take for others to get it after a D&C?
I just want A/F to get here so I can start trying again.

I had my d&c on October 1st and af showed on October 30th. I sure hope she shows soon for you!

It took AF 5+ weeks to show up. However, I have read anywhere up to 8 weeks is normal. I hope AF shows soon so you can move on!

I finally received mine at about 5w1day. It was the longest 5 weeks of my life! Had my d&c on 9/30 and period came on 11/6.
I know how frustrating it is to be waiting! Sending lots of AF vibes your way!!!

I had my D & C on July 20th and my period showed up on September 1st, but it we had a chemical pregnancy, so I don't really know if that was when it would have normally returned, or if that was later because of how long the pregnancy was holding it up. Either way, it was around 6 weeks later...which is still in the normal range. I know I ovulated on August 18th.

Thank you for the fast responces.
I was 9 weeks (baby stopped growing 8w 1d). HCG was back to normal (acording to HPT) 2 weeks after D&C. Dr did HCG bloold test Nov 4th at my follow up in case I was pregnant and it came back negative.
I love this board is so active. I belong to another one and days or weeks can go by before some replys to anything.

It took 56 days for my first period post D&C. My cylces are typically long/irregular, so this was normal for me.

We discovered my loss on 10/1 and my d&c oct 5th and my first af showed up oct 30th. My doc told me that af would take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks to show up and like Missy said it might even take as long as 8 weeks. If it goes much beyond that you might need to see your doc. If you get pregnant before af it's hard to date the baby. Good luck and I hope you get af soon so that you can start to ttc again soon!

Took AF 6 weeks to show up for me after my D&C. I was a nervous wreck waiting for it. Seemed like the longest 6 weeks of my life!

Well I woke up this morning and there was A/F. It is weird how happy I was to see it.
My DR gave me the ok to TTC right away and I tried last month (I was using OKP's). But I ended up with an infection from all the hormones changing and the meds I have to take says "do not take in the first 3 months of pregnancy" So I am happy to get this taken care of and try again this month.
I am so happy I found this group I think it is going to be great support.
