bad cold = pregnant?

I was at my daughter's parent/teacher conference and we were talking about how sick I am - bad cough, aches/pains, had sore throat over the weekend (I am not spreading germs.... I am a Purell queen with my daughter's immune system issues - I didn't expose anyone). My dd's teacher said 'maybe it's because you are pregnant'. She knows we are trying. Is being sick with a bad cold a sign of early pregnancy? I have not heard of that.

Yes, it can be. But usually just a running nose because all of the secretions in your body are freed up and moving.

Not a runny nose here. I have that lingering cough now that will not go away...

I think I may start testing tomorrow anyway

Before I found out I was pregnant the last time, I had a sore throat with an awful, irritating night time cough. It was pretty weird because we werent ttc at the time but I kept having these dreams that I was pregnant so I told my dbf that I was going to stop taking the cough meds 'just in case'. Weird cause it was only a couple days after we concieved that I was dreaming that, but anyways, yeah, for me it was, but then again, Ive had sore throats since and its never panned out!

Honestly, I just think I am sick. I did have bouts of nausea yesterday and today, both at noontime, but I think it's related to the cold. Though when DH went food shopping I asked him to pick up some FRERs lol. I have two different kinds of internet strips and if those are questionable I am ready with the FRERs.

I am either 4 or 6 dpo. I think I am 6 so I'll start testing daily tomorrow.
