All this time I let myself believe that there could be a chance for me to be pg this month....I started spotting today....Af is around the corner. I keep telling myself is for the best, with the move and the trip home, it's probably better if I am not pg....but still I'm bumped.

(((hugs))) don't be mad at yourself, that's a very normal way to feel while TTC...I always try to force myself not to think i'm pregnant, but it's so hard not to.

Try not to be mad at yourself but I understand how hard it is. TTCAL is even so much harder and so much more disappointing as we are not just sad we did not get pregnant but we are dealing with the loss of a baby as well. Get mad, it is ok but do not blame YOU. ((Hugs))

Patty, there WAS (and is, until the witch shows ) a chance that you could be pg. That's the hard part of this whole thing, there really is a reason to hope, and then we just get crushed each month it doesn't happen. I know it's hard, honey

I think I'm ok with af coming, it gives an opportunity to go my OB get my annual, ask all the questions that I want to start again when I see DH. I think this is good. I heard that sex after a while of seeing each other is the best I just hope that my is a hard sleeper

So I talked to Dh told him that I started spotting, he was disappointed which I just assumed, I told him that we would have to dtd at my moms this x-mas and he said that he's not comfortable with that me neither but a baby is more important to me than comfort...I'm pissed, the plan was to have the baby while I was on leave and now it seems like it won't happen at all, we might not try again for another year I guess he doesn't want a baby as much as I do

I'm sorry DH is being weird about trying at your mom's house Is there any way you could stay at a hotel so he wouldn't be so freaked out? Even for a night or two when you get a positive OPK?

Nicole-probably not...not without having to explain to the whole family the why of it, and let me tell you that's most likely not going to happen....

What if you said it would be your only chance for a while to get some alone time? Would the grandparents like a couple days with their grandson?

Orrrr... you could say you have some last minute shopping (or whatever) to do and just go to a motel room for an hour You will figure it out!

Patty I'm sorry honey! Lawd know I wish that was NOT true, but I love how you're trying to find the positive's instead of focusing on the negatives. Keep that optimistic attitude even tho it can be hard, being positive can help make the light shine brighter on your heart.

I agree tho.... nothing ever made lovin' more exciting as when you do it in a FUN place outside the normal "bedroom banter" Throw all the TTC things out the window, so what if you get up 3 mins after sex or aren't in a supine position with your arse boosted with 10 pillows so that your knees are practically to your ears! You can still get pregnant, sperm can meet egg without those conditions!

I do have to admit when I read thru this I truly felt your feelings until I read the last word and I had to reread it since I read it as it was meant not as it was typed but did the double take because it wasn't spelled like I read it .... can I admit it made me giggle like a little kid at a fart joke in elementary school? I was like "but I'm a little bumped?"
