I was watching the show 19 kids and counting last night and Anna (The oldest son's wife) was doing some ministry work inside a woman's prison. She had a miscarriage recently and was talking to the girls in the prison about it. Don't quote me here but she said that she thanked god when she had her miscarriage, that she had a hard time with it, but that we need to Thank god during the good and the bad times. That hanging onto the hurt is what burdens us. <-- that is all by memory so the wording is not fully correct.

It kind of made sense to me what she said. Hanging onto the hurt from my losses does bring me down. Not that I should ever forget about my babies but I need to let go of that pain.

Here is an article about her loss:

I watch it when I get a chance! I didn't see that episode yet lol (I'm a little behind). I totally agree with that thought. I'm at peace with everything for once in my life. I know someday somehow I will become a mom.

That makes absolute sense Missy and I'm glad you shared that with us because sometimes we need another perspective, another way to cope and understand how to get thru it... that is truly inspirational and does open up a door in my heart.

I completely agree girls. It was really hard the week that my m/c happened, but I had to rearrange my thinking and not focus on the hurt. The way I got through it was thinking about it actually as a blessing in disguise, because most times when you have a m/c it's because something is wrong with the baby. And, even though I know I would have loved that child just as much either way, I believe that God was sparing me from having to live with something for the rest of my life that I really wouldn't have wanted to.

It's hard, but if we can keep it all in perspective, then it will help. I also firmly believe that when I get to heaven someday, I am going to have a beautiful little boy or little girl waiting for me.
