Hello Ladies,

I need some advice. Since my mc my cycles have been really messed up. Since my cycles are messed up I don't when I O. This cycle I start my normal time on November 1st. For the last week I have been cramping. Yesterday when I went to the bathroom and wipped I had some spotting. I did take a Pregnancy test and it came back negative and I took a First Response Ovulation test also. The First Repsonce Ovulation Test came back with two very dark lines. This is my first time using a Ovulation test. Since the test came back with two dark lines does that mean I have O or does it mean that I am going to O in the next couple of days. I don't know what to think since I had some light spotting when I wipped. I kind of a feeling I was O that is why Dh and I had fun on Saturday and Sunday. Which I don't know if it was to early to catch the egg since I didn't take the ovulation test until yesterday.

I'm not sure about all brands of ovulation test, but I think usually if the test line is equally dark or darker than the control line, then the test is positive. A positive test means you will ovulate in the next 12-36 hours, so if you are TTC this cycle, I would BD 2 or 3 more days. Some ladies have spotting with ovulation- I hope that's what yours is!

Okay I'm going to try to get all the questions lol it's still early. For an OPK to be positive the test line has to be darker than the control line. When it is it usually means you will O within 24-48 hours. Sperm can usually live up to 3-5 days but it is best to BD (unless DH has swimmer issues) as much as possible around O. So I would continue to BD for the next couple days just to be sure. I hope this is it and you get your sticky BFP!
