I tried soy this time and it moved my O up by 3 days. I didn't have any side effects but I took it right before going to sleep. I'm still hoping you won't need it.

I took soy CD 2 - 6 during my August cycle (BFP!) and also my October cycle (BFP again!). I m/c'd my first pg after 7 weeks, and I am cautiously waiting to see how this pg progresses. DH and I TTC'd for 5 months before I decided to give the soy a try, so I definitely think there is something to it.
I took 80 mg, which is the lowest dose, and I don't have a history of any ovulation issues that I'm aware of. The soy bumped up my ovulation by several days, and the only side effects I noticed were headaches back in August. NO side effects this month. LMK if you have any questions!

I took clomid (100mg) for 2 months and it was a living h$LL. I was an emotional and physical mess!
I have taken soy 4 times and bloating is pretty much my only side effect.
I will take soy over clomid anyday!

I'm curious about this too, I don't know ANYTHING about soy. Don't know what it's supposed to do, how to use it, if I even should use it, etc. So I'm interested to see where this thread goes.

Tobi, I took soy for 2 months. First month was 120 mg CD3-7... Second month was 160 mg CD3-7. First month I noticed no side effects but I also didn't notice any changes to my cycle and obviously got a BFN. Second month my fertility signs were all messed up (never got a positive OPK, EWCM didn't line up with temp rise) and also got a BFN.
Now I've done 2 cycles Clomid, both 50 mg CD3-7... no real side effects for me, maybe some moodiness, ovulation has been moved up both times... but also 2 BFN.
I hope the soy works for you! Have you looked into Femara anymore?

I took Clomid a total of 9 times with HORRIBLE side effects and I have gotten pregnant several times from it but I lost them. I tried Femara 3 times and noda with minimal side effects. I have not tried soy yet but I am planning on trying it this month as well as several other natural remedies

Katie - Thanks so much for posting that link. A few of my other mommy friends have talked about the lemon water, soy and such and I am eager to try it. Glad I found the "recipe" on that thread you linked to.

I only looked at a few online sites. Im going to ask the Dr about it tomorrow. Im also going to ask if he has an opinion about soy. Maybe I should continue the MA route, rather than trying natural just so that if we do decide to go further, it wont be as long a wait, having to try all this stuff first. I just dont know!

I think it's a good idea to talk with your doctor and see what he has to say about your options. I don't think it's really going to hurt anything if you try soy for a couple months, though, if that's what you want to do. Anyone can tell you their opinion, but you just gotta do what feels right to you. It stinks, though
