I officially hate the nurses at my OBs. She said "I think we need to get you in because it only went up to 385 and it's not tripling". umm.... Not only did it double, but it tripled (I had it drawn earlier). Here I was praying for anything over 240 and she is trying to tell me that something is wrong.Grr....
So I just thanked her and asked for a first appt. I go in Dec 8 and hopefully there will be something to see. I'm done worrying. I'm just going to be positive from here out and enjoy whatever time I have with my smurf

You need to complain about this nurse. What if you did not have the resources and knowledge of all the girls on JM and it sent you into panic attacks thinking there is something wrong? As it is she is giving you unnecessary anxiety. I am sure that she is not trying to hurt you by giving you wrong information but she also needs to be corrected.

What's up with the nurses at your doctor's office? I would complaint as well. When I was pg with DS, I remember that I called the nurse because I was fainting, she never returned my call, I told the doctor and that never happened again.
The only nice nurses I had talked to are the one at the pediatrician's office.

Ugh, how aggravating, having someone (even if accidentally) put a hiccup in a time that should be pure joy. I wonder if she tells a lot of other women the same things, and if she realizes that most of the people she says this to end up being fine... Her ignorance needs to be corrected =\

Rebecca, I am so excited that your numbers are rising so perfectly Yay!!!! Can't wait for your appt!!

I agree, I would tell the doctor about what the nurse is telling you... she is just plain wrong and no one needs that extra stress.

I think the nurse is on crack and you should ignore her when she speaks. I have never, ever heard of HCG needing to triple. And even if it has to triple, yours did! What a kill-joy!! Try not to let it ruin your high. She just is lacking brain sells.

wow, I hope you say something to your doc about that nurse! I swear some of them have no consideration or compassion at all.

hugs!

I was thinking about your Rebecca. I agree with everyone else. You need to say something about the nurse. From what I read your numbers look great.
