DH informed me last night that we missed open enrollment... I am so torn because that is what I was waiting on and being hopeful about.. Now I have to wait again unless I can get other coverage.. He said he waited for them to bring him the papers and nothing.. What should've been done is he should've asked, not waited for them.. So I am so so upset.. My holidays aren't starting off good at all..

Lindsey, that SUCKS Have him go talk to his HR person and see if there is any way to work around it. When is the next open enrollment? Could you afford an individual policy short term until the next enrollment?

I don't know Nicole.. I know the lady left for 4 days on a cruise and I don't know when she is getting back.. I don't know who to be more angry at his company or him knowing and not saying something.. I don't know what it would be for an individual plan, but I am going to start looking into all my options now.. I am tired of waiting for his company..

OK well I asked him about why Maria did that, and he said he was given the papers, and he asked one of the ladies in dispatch to put them aside for him so he could get them, and some how they got misplaced so it was his fault.. I am super upset now cause he knows how much that ment to me.. I have been patient and waited and now this.. UGH!! It will be atleast another 6 to 7 months before he will get enrollment papers again.. I didn't want to wait that long since trying was healing for me too and I think that is why this last loss has been so hard on me.. Now I feel like my heart just got ripped open again.. He just got upset when I tried talking to him about it.. So whatever!!
