I'm 5 weeks 1 day today. Yesterday evening I had a tiny itty bitty bit of pink on the tissue after peeing. 2a.m. I woke up to dark brown almost orange blood on the tissue. All day I've been cramping and lower back pain. Now when I go check now it's just a tiny bit that you have to really study to see.
I've called my OB. Basically I have to wait until Monday to have blood work...because we are leaving town tomorrow. I hope and pray that it's just old blood from implantation...but I just have a feeling that I'm losing this baby. I'm just heartbroken.
Thanks for letting me vent.

I am so sorry for what you are being put through. There is still hope there since you have not been bleeding any more. But the lower back pain is not a good sign. Hang in there. Prayers for you girl!

I had that with my daughter at exactly 5 weeks like you are. I had a ultra sound that day and there was no heartbeat but a sac and baby but baby measured spot on. I had to wait 2 weeks to come back and there was a heart beat.... So you just never know with these things.
Sucks you have to wait so long to find out anything
I hate when big stuff like this happens around holiday's.

Thanks everybody. I've decided to stay positive. When I had my miscarriage I was 8 weeks 4 days and it was big gush of brown blood...soaked through my pants. This was just when I wiped. I had some spotting with my 11 month old dd at around the same time but not as much as the 2.a.m. spotting. My temp is still up so that has to be a good sign right? At least that is what I'm grasping on to. I hate this part of pregnancy. I was doing so well not worried this time. My ultrasound is scheduled for Dec. 17th. But hoping my dr. will do one after we get the hcg results. She did last time with Nattie because my levels didn't double.

I don't know if you're a Christian but I'm keeping you in my prayers hun.
You are such a strong mama, I know the waiting is hard and we worrry about every thing after losing a baby.
It sounds like old blood to me, it was pink, went to brown and only when you wiped so not like your last. I have had spotting with every one of my babies...my 12 week miscarriage was heavy though with lots of big clots. Then with Elijah, I had bleeding for a week and needed a pad it was that bad (but never clots). He was such a fighter. They never found a reason for it though but thought it was down to a sensitive cervix.
Hugs hun
