When you have O pains, is it only on one side normally?
My right ovary hurts every month. Every 3rd month or so, my left ovary hurts, too, but not nearly as badly.
Is it possible that I'm not Oing on my left ovary?
Also, this month they both hurt the same. It's not bad enough for me to be actually ovulating yet, it's my "leading up to it" pain, but the left one is very definitely hurting the same amount. This is weird for me.

Mine is normally only on one side at at time. It may mean you are not ovulating on one side regularly. But I am not a Dr so you might want to have it checked out.

Brittanie, I have pain on one side each cycle, but the pain is not the same on each side. When I ovulate from the right side, it is more of a dull pressure feeling. When I ovulate from the left side it is a sharper pain. I also am wondering about whether ovulating from the same side often is normal. The last two cycles u/s and O pain have showed that I ovulated from the right. I think it is okay to not alternate every month, though. Hoping that you get your BFP this month!

I'm not sure if it's O pain, as I've never had it before, but a couple days ago I had cramping across the whole of my lower abdomen. It was pretty sharp, I was surprised, and it happened right around when I might have been O-ing. Sorry I'm not more help!

I have O pain off and on on both sides but it seems to hurt more on one side than the other. This last cycle, I had it on both sides so I figured they were just fighting to decide who was going to be first. I have no idea which side I ovulated from. I also have the pain almost a week before I ovulate and for almost a week after. Not a very good predictor for me.

I also only get 'O' pain on one side (my left). My doc said it was related to my tilted uterus and how it pushes up against the left ovary when it is ready for an egg to implant. I thought the explanation sounded weird...but I have seen that I ovulate from both sides, or at least I have on a regular basis (the left might be more often, but I am not sure how rare that is). When I had a sono to check the lining of the uterus a few years ago, the lady commented that I was going to ovulate from my right side soon, and I was having left side pain. Every so often it will stretch across my back and hurt both sides. But only sometimes. I would bet for whatever reason the release is more violent that month.
I would keep an eye on it and maybe even ask if your uterus tilts to one side (or you might already know if it does or not). Just in case it comes up in the future, they might want to look into it. But hopefully it wont

I only get ovulation pain occasionally, but when I do it's always been on my right side.

I've only really had O pain when I was on either clomid or the injectables. With those I typically O'd form both sides so the pain was on both.
