Can you girls tell me about OPKs? I'm new to this....

Has anyone had luck with the Dollar Tree OPKs? I can't afford to spend a lot on them.

they detect an LH surge,which happens I think 12-36 hours before you ovulate...Depending how long your cycle is, is when you should take them...Like if you have a normal 28 day cycle, ovulate on CD 14 etc, i'd start taking them at around CD 10...I always start with 2 a day, till they get darker and closer to O and take 3 a day...at around 11, 5 and 8 or 9...I wouldn't buy them from the dollar store...go to early-pregnancy-tests.com and Order them, or on ebay you can get like 20 OPK's + 5 HPT's for 9.99 + 2.99 shipping (That's on their ebay only, I think it's like 14.95 on their website, but still a better deal than dollar store ones IMO)...Good luck!!!
