Brittanie, what is your kids favorite snack/dessert? And how often are they allowed to have it?

Oh me!! That's a great surprise! lol
This is my favorite this year...lol I'll have to take pics of some of my other favorites a little later
My kids are pretty good eaters. They love fruits, so if I have some I generally give it to them whenever they ask. But Patrick's best word is "cookie," if that tells you anything. lol They only get cookies after eating a real meal. lol

I would love to see a pic of all your snowflakes if you have them up. Mick loved the one you did for Elijah.
What is your favorite family time activity?

Okay, a couple more favorite ornaments
This was one of my very first as a child, I've had it pretty much all my life
this one my mom bought a long time ago but ended up giving it to me because I collect angels
And this is Cora's last year It says "Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy"
If I could go anywhere on vacation...probably Europe. Specifically Ireland, since my family heritage is there, and Germany, because DH's is there. I'd spend my time in Germany looking for the records of DH's great-grandfather's parents, since he immigrated from Germany and that's where our information stops.
Or possibly also Hawaii. DH told me that there's a beach there with green sand and I want to go see it. lol
My favorite family activity is going to the movie theater. lol Patrick's a bit difficult right now, but Erin's great and loves it so much. lol
And here's all my snowflakes

And my sewing machine is put away for a while, but I'll take a pic of my scrapbooking stuff in just a bit.

That's a long story. lol!
Matt served a mission for my church in my home town. My dad was the liason between the members in our area and the people the missionaries were teaching. At this time, I was living in Utah with my best friend who was going to BYU (I moved 2 weeks after he transferred into my area, and he had dinner at my house once, so we met before I left). Anyway, after he went home, he kept in contact with my family because he became good friends with my dad and my younger sister. She told me in February 2004 that I needed to email him because we'd be perfect for each other and she thought that he was falling in love with her (yeah, she reminded him of his younger sister. lol) Anyway, we started emailing back and forth (I was still in Utah at this point and he was back at school in Idaho). His semester ended in April, as did his housing contract, and I had been very very sick. He was driving down to Las Vegas to visit his older sister for 2 weeks while waiting for his younger sister's semester to end so he could drive back to Michigan with her. Anyway I told him that if he picked me up in Provo on his way down, I'd pay for half his gas. By the time we got to St. George (4 hrs from Provo) I knew I was going to marry him. We spent 42 hours together that week, and then my best friend came down for the weekend and I drove back up with her. When he drove back through Provo to meet his sister, we went to a movie and he held my hand, and then he left to drive to Michigan and I didn't talk to him for 3 days. lol
We talked on the phone for hours when we could and IMed a lot. We were engaged on New Year's Eve and married June 17, 2005.

Here's the desktop where I'm at during the day. When DH is home I'm on the laptop wherever. lol
And my "stash." Pitiful I know, but I don't buy many.
I don't have an all-time favorite movie. I have movies that I like a lot, but I don't have one that I like over every other one. I like The Phantom Of The Opera, Enchanted, and How To Train Your Dragon to name a few. lol
I think I already have the best job in the world (SAHM), but if I were to have an out-of-the-home job it'd probably be something psychology related. I was majoring in psychology when I was in college before I had to stop.
The messiest spot in my house is hands-down my kids' room. I try to keep the front room tidy and free of toys during the day, but I just close the door to the kids' room when people are here. I don't have enough energy to maintain order in there. lol
And my favorite food is ice cream. Or chocolate chip cookies. lol

Altogether I had 2 root canals, 5 crowns and fillings on 15 teeth (most 2 or 3 surfaces). Yeah, all the reconstruction is done. Now I just need to get a mold taken of my mouth to make a tray to put on my teeth over night with a flouride paste to strengthen my enamel, but that's not going to happen until after the first of the year when my insurance starts over. lol

Well, I'd agree about my teeth looking great except that the front 8 that you actually see weren't touched (front 4 top and bottom plus 1 canine were okay, the rest all had cavities, etc). The important thing is my teeth FEEL so much better. They're still a little sensitive, but it's amazing how much less pain I have. At one point (before I got my root canals) it hurt to breathe with my mouth open because the air was too cold. Now I can eat hot and cold stuff fine with no problems.
My favorite things about my kids? I love how proud Erin gets of things she does well, like writing Hs or peeing in the potty or whatnot. She gets so excited when she accomplishes something, and you just have to celebrate with her. She's also very sensitive when I'm upset or don't feel good, and she is always trying to make me feel better.
I love Patrick's curiosity. It's amazing to just watch him explore how things work and how they go together. Sometimes he'll sit and study something and concentrate really hard and he makes the exact same face as DH when he concentrates and it's adorable. He's also a big time cuddler and I love that.
DH is just so patient. He puts up with so much from me sometimes. He's also so kind, he's always trying to help people. If something breaks and he can fix it, he just does it, usually without expecting anything in return.
