I'm not a doctor but it doesn't sound like a molar pregnancy. Molar pregnancies tend to have really high HCG levels so you would have had a clear positive if you were. Also, I know that many get early positives but 8-9 is really early so if they were true positives, again, they would have got darker.
I had a few FRER's from after I lost my baby and was still getting faint positives for weeks. I tested with my last one on a Friday and it was still the same faint line, I got full AF the next day so I knew they were left overs or evaps. I've had evaps before on FRER's in the past too. I had seen my GP when I was getting the faint lines and them not getting darker and her first thought was etopic and got me in for a scan just to make sure all was ok.
I'm so sorry, I know all this is so frustrating and I hope you get your rainbow baby soon hun.
