By my calculations, I should be 7 weeks today. The Dr. said I should be 6w6d which is fine, her calendar wheel is different. The thing that has me worried is that the u/s showed 6w1d.
The heartrate was around 150 and I could see the flicker but the dates being far off has me worried. She said they will leave my due date as July 26 because it's not more than a week off and I go back in 2 weeks.
Here is my pic
I know I'm just being paranoid but I really just can't relax at all can I? I have an appt with Maternal fetal medicine on Thursday. Nothing exciting, just a consult. Two more weeks of worrying is going to kill me.

When I went in with Cora, she was measuring 5 days behind. They changed my due date from May 9th to May 14th, and she measured perfectly to the 14th for the rest of the pregnancy.
With Erin it went from June 21st to June 24th (they didn't change that one on paper) and with Patrick it went from Feb. 27th to Mar. 2nd.
So it can be okay to be measuring behind a little. 5 days isn't really that much.

What a beautiful picture! I have heard lots of stories of little beans measuring behind early on only to catch up, plus more a few weeks later. It must be hard to relax, though.

Hugs!! Pregnancy after losses is so hard. With this pregnancy my first ultrasound showed me to be 5 wks 6 days which by my calculations was right on. Then when I went back a few days later I should have been 6 weeks 5 days baby only showed 6 weeks 1 day. Freaked me all out!! They did another one at 8 weeks and baby measured 3 days behind. I just went for my 10 week 3 day U/S and baby measured bigger at 10 weeks 6 days. Babies grow at different rates. Plus your babies HB was 150 that is awesome!! With my first U/S baby HB was only 92!! And the dr said that was very low. Went in for the second they said 118. Still lower than they wanted. Now it has gone up to 163 which is normal and awesome. But I was worried for a while that smaller baby and low HB would for sure be another loss. Babies just grow different than what we feel should be normal sometimes. I bet when you go back baby will measure normal or even bigger. Its the waiting that sucks. Big hugs and good luck!! And yeah for a great appt, U/S, and HB!! What a beautiful baby you got in there!!

Rebecca, those are never on point for dating... u/s's aren't that accurate, especially for dates/sizes. I know with my daughter they told me she would be close to 11lbs, she was only 9lbs. Not to mention sweetie, it's so early so right now that little smurf could be curled in a way where they're not getting an entire exact measurement.
honey it's not easy, but enjoy each day at a time...

Thanks all. I've just decided that I'm going to go by the u/s date which would mean my HCG numbers were normal, not low and I had a great appointment today, not a worrisome one. I'd rather measure ahead than behind so if I have to be induced early, I'll have a slight edge. That happened with my last pregnancy. They thought I was 26 weeks but I was really 25.
So for now, I'm just due sometime in the Summer of 2011. Not going to worry anymore, or at least not until my next u/s

You have such a great outlook and I get the worrying. Pregnancy will never be the same. I have to agree that scan numbers vary so greatly. When I had my 20 week scan with Gabriella, the tech said she was worried because she was measuring small. No other details. Had to go back a week later because I have a very stubborn girl and she was measuring right on track. I was worried that entire week.
I think baby is perfect and love the picture and I'm just so gosh darn happy for you!!!!

I think everything sounds fine, but it is totally understandable that you are still worried. I hope you can relax and that your visit to maternal fetal medicine can help calm your fears. It is so sad that our past losses have ruined the innocence of pregnancy, isn't it?!?
Keeping my fingers crossed for you and your little bean!

I think everything sounds great! It is hard not to worry and you will until you hold them in your arms and then after that for a whole different set of reasons! Your numbers look great and so does your baby! Congrats!

You are looking at it the right away.....I know that you are worry, there's really nothing anyone can say that will make you worry less, but try to relax and enjoy. Think about it like, when you are kids are babies and all you want is for them to start crawling or walking and everyone tell you to to enjoy now they are little, sort of the same thing, enjoy this part of pg.

Rebecca, when my time comes I'll probably be doing the same as you, but it sounds like everything is going well if the hb is that high. Sending you sticky dust.
