A grand total of 17 friends have had babies or announced pregnancies in the last 3-4 months. Sigh. Another one today.

I can relate. SO many people around me are pregnant, just had babies, ttc or are due right around when I would have been.

As happy as I am for them, believe me when I say it HURTS! Its like pouring salt into an open wound.

HUGS!

Yeah, I have four pregnant friends - and my sister just announced her pregnancy two weeks ago. I am happy, and put on a happy face - but inside, I am miserable. It sux

It's even more nerve-wracking when they feel inclined to remind everyone that they're pregnant multiple times a day. Good Lord, we knew the first time you told us. Haha!

I have to "block" all those people who are pregnant right now. I just can't handle it. I always feel selfish...but I can not hear about their good news and updates when I feel so empty and like a failure in that department. I can count about 10 for my friends/family and I am sorta short when it comes to talking about pregnancy with them. I know they are excited, but I can only pretend to tolerate it so much. I would pull out that little block tool whenever you can. You can always unblock them when you get your BFP!

I think the worst ones are the ones that are due around when you would be. And the ones who complain about being pregnant (when you would kill to be so). Hang in there. You will be there soon enough!

I actually enjoy seeing the pictures and everything, so I don't block them, but it doesn't make it any easier. I guess I posted something because I was dorky enough to actually count everyone, haha!

Oh, that is different if you like hearing the updates. For some it makes them happier...others just feel more lost when it comes to that kind of thing. It is great you can be there for them in this time. That is very strong.

I do think that 17 is a LOT! Maybe live vicariously through them

I know how you feel. I'm friends on Facebook with about 40 women from my November DDC and I see babies everywhere, all the time. All kinds of happy things like first smile, one month old today, coming home pics... Plus I have several other friends in various stages of their pregnancies who post things a lot, too. I don't have anyone muted, but I tend to not read most of the posts if they're about pregnancies or babies. It's so hard.
