I am pretty sure I am out this month so I wanted to start charting next month.... but do not know anything about it.
Can someone lead me in the right direction? is there a web site for free that you can use to chart?
I had to chart years back but forget how and after 60 some days with out a period I gave up on charting (turns out I was screwed up from birth control).
Can I just use a regular thermomitor? because I am spending way to much money TTC with all the opk's and pregnancy tests I am using up.

Fertility Friend is the site that is free to use. They prefer a BBT thermometer but you can use a regular digital one as long as you take your temp at the same time every day. Good luck!

I use fertility friend too. I don't take my temp at the same time every day though. They say that as long as you get 3 hours of sleep beforehand it should be okay. I just temp right when I wake up, whenever that is (I'm not going to set an alarm because I won't go back to sleep, and then just be exhausted the whole day).

BBTs are more accurate because they go by hundreths. I've had time where my variation for a few days is a matter of a hundreth of a degree. And my bbt wasn't all that expensive at all.

I also use fertility friend and use a bbt from target. I do take my temp at the same time every day because mine changes a lot during the day.

I ordered one from Amazon and it should be here Wednesday... I think A/F will beat it here. I am going to use a regular one the next couple mornings until it comes.
I totally forgot about that web site and relogged in and it has some of my cycles from 2007 when I was TTC my daughter.
For some reason I wrote down all my A/F days from almost all 2010 so I was able to input those to get a Adverage cycle length.

Welcome to Taking Charge of Your Fertility also has some good information and free charting software. I used both FF and TCOYF.
Good luck next month!
