I was wondering if any of you knew when I should start taking the soy vitamins I got. I was planning on doing the CD3-7. I was going to start at 120mg.

I started AF on Friday but it was at night. It wasn't spotting though...so should I could Friday as CD1? If so I would think that I need to start the soy tonight when I go to bed.

Thanks!

I took it at night on day 3 of true AF so I would start it tonight. I hope this is it for you.

What is your normal cycle like?

Do you normally ovulate around CD14 (ish) and get AF 14 days later?

Then I would take it CD5-9

If you ovulate late in your cycle you can try taking it CD3-7 to try to move O day up...

I just know when I've tried to take it CD3-7 it actually screwed up my O date to futher back... so I keep it up at 5-9 and O day has been right on.

Celena,

My cycles are normally 32 days long. My last one was 40 days long but I had spotting early on at cd10/11 which I have never had before!

Anyway, I normally ovulate anywhere from CD17-21, and have a LP of 12 days on average.

Hopefully taking it 3-7 will move my O date up.

I think 3-7 would be perfect for you then for sure, good luck with it this cycle!

You could start off at 80mg's this cycle, then 120 next cycle if it doesn' work this cycle but I'm not sure I'd jump right into the 120 right away... soy is a natural alternative for clomid but it's not without it's minimal side effects (which you should totally take it at night) nausea, crankiness, headaches. Which is another reason I suggest try 80 first as well, let your body acclimate to it.

Thanks Celena. I did start it last night but did the 120 mg already. I haven't noticed any side effects yet but it's only the first day of it. I did seem like I got hotter in bed last night...not sure if it was the soy or just having the heat on and extra blankets (its been very cold here).
