So I opted for the medical intervention. Just because I feel like with the move, Christmas, Nattie's birthday...I just couldn't deal with surgery as well.
My dr. gave me Cytotec. She prescribed 2 pills to take at once. So I did last night. Had some cramping. Nothing. Here in about 2 hours I have to take the Methergen to start the cramping of my uterus. But from what I understand things should of started with the dose I had last night. So we'll see. I'm suppose to call her on Friday to give her an update. And if things haven't went the way they are suppose to I'll have to go ahead and do the D and C on next Monday.
I just want to get this done. And start again.

Praying that everything will be okay for you! From what I gathered, doctors will usually give you another dose of Cytotec if things haven't yet picked up. I'm so sorry you have to go through this.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
I did a lot of reading up on Cytotec during my loss, and from what I gathered those who did the 4 Cytotec pills in the cervix at once usually had the fastest outcome. You might want to talk with your doc about trying 4.

((HUGS))
I did Cytotec with my M/C 4 months ago. I think I took 4 tablets and was given a 2nd dose to take in 24 hours if the first dose didn't work. The first dose did work, but it took about 14 hours vs. the 2-4 my instruction sheet said.

HUGS Amanda! I hope this works and you don't need the D&C. I couldn't handle being in limbo.

I'm sorry. I really hope it does work. I wonder why they have you take it orally? Here they instruct us to insert it right at the cervix.
