I have an appointment to talk with my OB about my cycle problems (spotting for 10 days before AF and no ovulation) I want to ask her about taking herbs to help me conceive. I have been doing research but it is all quite overwhelming. So far I think I would like to take Vitex, B-6 and drink red rasberry leaf tea (I am already taking a prenatal). Having lost a baby at 8 weeks and now having what seems to be low progesterone - I like the idea of taking the Vitex during the first trimester. I have read that many women have done this to prevent miscarriage. Any thoughts on this? I read an article that said Vitex is used to "hold" a pregnancy, but when I read the info on the GNC website it says stop once you are pregnant. Is rasberry leaf tea dangerous to the pregnancy once I have conceived?

I took vitex for a month and did some research on it. I found info saying to stop taking it once pregnancy is achieved and other info saying you can still take it after you find out you are pregnant. I really have no idea. I hope your doctor will be able to give you some answers. Let us know what you find out though!
