So I've had 3 m/c's this year and my husband and I are ready to try again. But my cycles aren't normal at all. I'm averaging a 36 day cycle when it used to a 28 day cycle- almost to the hour I was that regular. So is it possible to still ovulate and get pregnant even when such a wacky cycle now? I'm using two different charts on my iPhone that are charting and according to a 36 day cycle I will be ovulating right when my husband is home on leave, but I am wondering if any of you ladies found even when your cycle changed you still ovulated at the projected time?

I am so unsure of my body now but I really am praying this is our time. We wanted our first two close in age and then our next two close in age and now after the m/c's I'm starting to think that we just won't have anymore. And I know everyone says to be thankful for the kids we do have, and we are but at the same time I am still longing to expand our family, I don't feel like we are complete yet.

Try using some OPK to see when you ovulate. I o very late as well and I need something to help me track it.

I was going to suggest an ovulation predictor kit also. That helped me realize I was targeting the wrong date before.

I think temping is the best way to to see when you are ovulating and the kits to predict when to bd. From what I understand an ovulation prediction kit can detect your surge but there is still the chance that you didn't ovulate.

Your lp (luteal phase) usually doesn't change so if your cycles are longer, it just means that you are ovulating later.

Thank you ladies. Hopefully that means that I will be ovulating when my husband is home because according to a few different ovulation predictor sites I looked at, I'd ovulate the week before which was when we were trying when he was home but I entered in all of my cycles even the ones with my m/c and it's showing me o'ing a week later- which I would suppose explain the longer cycle. I have 10 ovulation strips here that I was going to use but then I thought it'd be better to wait and use those when he's home for good if we don't get pregnant while he's on leave because he's only here for 2 weeks and if I don't ovulate I sort of don't want to know I guess, so I don't overly stress about it while he's home and can just enjoy the time.

I think that makes sense.
