I'm praying it is just stress. We found out yesterday that yet another job my dh has had interviews for, and who told him he was a perfect fit and they were interested in hiring him, gave the job to someone else. The timing is just unbelievable. I slept late this morning, just depressed, and when I got up, there was bright red spotting. I should be almost 8wks. This is the same thing that happened before. I spotted, then had cramping, then miscarried at 8wks.
I also got a call from my OB. She said my a1c test was high (8.3) and my 24hr urine shows kidney damage. Protein was 800. I have an appt with a perinatologist tomorrow and I'm going to ask for a u/s. I'm just so depressed and feeling hopeless right now and you all feel like the only family I have. Thanks for letting me vent.
Update:
Spotting has almost stopped. I had my appt today. Didn't get an u/s. The doctor seemed hopeful though. He talked to me about everything, went over all my labs, wants me to start taking a baby aspirin a day. He scheduled my anatomy u/s so I go back in 10wks. He will be seeing me for nst's and other tests after 20wks. I see my OB on Monday so hopefully she'll give me an u/s so I can relax for Christmas. My dh also heard something today about the company that interviewed him. They should be calling him this week. Hopefully, it'll be something good.

Rebecca, I have been wondering how you've been holding up, and I'm so sorry to hear that things are still so stressful for you I will be keeping my fingers crossed that the spotting is just normal pg spotting, and that you get great news at your next appointment. Please KUP, hon!

Rebecca,
I am so sorry to hear you are spotting. I know it is hard not to just expect the worst. Please KUP on your ultrasound if they give you one. I pray they do.
That really sucks about the job opportunity for your husband. Maybe the other person won't work out and they will give him a call back. I have been told that I was a perfect fit numerous times before and then never receive a call. I don't understand it myself.
*huge hugs* Praying for you!

Rebecca, I am sorry about everything going on right now! I hope things look up for DH job search soon! I hope that your appt tomorrow goes well, and that you are able to get an ultrasound too. Praying that the bleeding is nothing of major concern!

How awful for them to get your hopes up like that and then just rip the rug out from underneath you. I hope your DH finds something soon and that it will be worth the wait. I also hope that this bleeding is just the 'typical' bleeding that lots of women experience in the first trimester.

Great update. I hope it was able to put your mind at ease, even a little. I'd be so up their butt for that u/s before Christmas
I hope your DH gets good news and you can all exhale...
