Any success? Has anyone here conceived while taking it? Could a low dose such as 81mg delay ovulation? My doctor wants me to take baby aspirin next time I get a BFP, but she gave me a "thumbs-up" to start it immediately...which I have.

My ovulation was delayed last month, but my doctor told me that the aspirin didn't do it...Sorry I can't give you anymore info....good luck!!!

I have been on baby aspirin for a long time and this month I ovulated early.... I have not heard that aspirin delays ovualtion...good luck!

I took it for this pregnancy. My doctor had no explaination for my 3 back to back losses earlier this year. And as a proactive approach had me take Progestrone (Prometrium), as well as extra folic acid (2- 800 mcg tabs), a baby aspirin (81mg), in addition to my Prenatal, and a super B- Complex. Before ovulation I took Geritol, did the lemon water detox, extra folic acid, and super B-complex. After O I added the progestrone and baby aspirin. Previous months I had taken the baby aspirin prior to O, but had no luck concieving with sucess. I had heard it lutenizing the eggs early if taken before O. I have no idea if that is true. But taking it after O this time worked. I also wanted to add I switched to a regular Prenatal after I got my BFP. Good Luck hun!! Oh btw I didn't notice it delayed ovulation but I also was taking Soy on days 2-6 or 3-7. And I thought that was delaying ovulation? The month I got my BFP I took the soy 5-9 and didn't take the aspirin before O. And I O'ed really early CD 10, and thought I had missed O. Guess not! I hope this month is your lucky cycle!!

Is this something that you take as a supplement or did you consult your doc? Just wanting to find out all I can to talk with my doc about!

Since my doc suspects a blood clotting disorder, but can't test me for it until after three consecutive losses; she wants me to start taking baby aspirin (81mg) as soon as I get a BFP...just as a precaution. I started taking it immediately per my doc's approval to get it built up in my system.

Hmmm I take it because my AF used to be just brown clots and since taking it I have actual red flow! I hadn't heard of it delaying ovulation so will have to read up on that!

Seriously! The aspirin is prolonging AF like crazy.

NSAID can cause the eggs to mature prematurely before ovulation, but I believe baby asprin is a low enough dose that it's not something to worry about. However, it would be a good idea to wait until O. Asprin does not need time to build up in your system like other medications... so don't worry about starting it right away. I would do as your doctor suggested which is take it when you get a bfp or actually like some of the other ladies do by taking it post O.
