I am going to be out this month.
With the meds they have me doing I just have a feeling it won't work this month.
Then as I am 4 days in on the meds (3 days left) I finally read the paper that comes with it... says no sexual intercourse while using this medication.. OPPS. I asked the DR if it was ok to use while TTC and she answered me with "Well it's to soon to be TTC you need to wait longer" my OB cleared me 2 Cycles ago UGH
I almost wish I would have waited until after ovulation to use it but I don't think I could have waited another week because of how painfull it was getting and I think DTD would have not happen because of that too.
I was also expecting a positive OPK yesterday and did not get it....
I have been using the meds at night and DTD during the day hoping to 2 do not interfear with each other.

Maybe you should Google the medication a little, or heck, talk to your pharmacist, and find out about why you shouldn't TTC on the meds. (People never think to ask their pharmacists questions, only their docs, but this would be a perfect time to ask the pharmacist! They tend to know nitty-gritty details about meds that docs might not.) I forget what it's called, but there's a chemical used in very strong acne medications that is known to cause terrible birth defects if one gets pregnant while using it. I just don't want to see any unnecessary heartache for you

Yes I told her my OB cleared me to TTC but she just ignored it.
I tried to do some reading online and all I can find is that it can break condoms & with it being a antibiotic it can cause pregnancy by causing BC to not work.. so maybe that is why they say no intercourse?
They prescrib it while you are pregnant and says in a study it is safe while pregnant.
I was just hoping maybe someone on here has used it before or even while TTC and still ended up pregnant?

Oh! lol. You're not supposed to DTD while on that med because you're MORE likely to get pregnant -- Little do they know... I definitely don't think you're out for this cycle!
