Little bit of history, I went to the ER on Christmas for spotting, they did HCG and it was 2405 Went to the dr on the 27th, he did HCG 2850, he seemed VERY negative from the get go and sent me for U/s monday which showed a possible ectopic and a sac in the uterus with yolk.
Well DH called around to a few doctors in town to try to get a second opinion since I am kinda of leary on my doctor. I read on numerous websites that after your hcg reaches 1600-2000 it doubles every 3-4 days but he refused to have more blood drawn, only the one almost 2 days later. The other dr's are scheduling for 2 weeks out for new patients, and 3 of them recommended going back to the ER and getting another blood draw to compare with the one on christmas and another u/s to see if it is a ectopic or not which is really rare since there is a sac in my uterus. Please send positive thoughts that we get good news tonight and that we can finally rest at ease knowing what is going on. Will update tonight when I get back

Good luck! Sucks that you have to go to the ER. Minimum amount of time in the ER where I live is 5 hours and that's if you're seen right away. It's so frustrating.
I also just switched doctors because my one doctor kept insisting that I get a D&C even though I'd passed everything naturally. I finally found a doctor that was on the same page as me, but he's on vacation. he did leave a note for the nurse to tell me not to have a D&C though.

This doctor just makes me so mad, he thinks i might have a pregnancy in the tube, but he wants to keep waiting...HELLO this can kill me i don't want to wait to know. PLus telling me that my levels HAVE to double every 48hrs, when everywhere on the net says after 2000 is doubles every 3-4 days. I just pray tonight we see a baby in the uterus and the "cyst" on my ovary is going away...
plus this doctor is trying to get me to get a D&C after he told me 5 week 2 days is to early to see a fetal pole

Yeah, sounds like a wacko. Always trust your gut because you know your body better than anyone.
I can sympathize with the anger too. When I went for my last appointment with the doctor I hate, I could tell that I was so angry that I was being physically affected. When I got there, my blood pressure was 13x/xx (I don't know the x's) and it's normally 110/7x. It was mainly the nurses that were annoying me. Before I knew I was going to miscarry, I kept telling them that something was wrong and they wouldn't listen and kept saying that everything was fine. After I had the MC, they kept insisting that if I didn't have this D&C, I could die (not really that extreme, but their panic levels conveyed that type of urgency). I knew everything was fine and that my body knew what it was doing, but they wouldn't listen to me then either. It is so mind-bogglingly infuriating.
i've reason some stories in these boards about people with similar scenarios to yours that ended up delivering healthy babies, so I think you're right to go to the ER and get it checked out, but try not to stress until you know what's real and what's bogus.

Ya know, I lost twins in January. I freak out, me an DH did the deed a few days before Christmas, i was spotting Christmas eve from it and me being dumb, i checked internally which i know caused the spotting on christmas, when I got the er that day the bleeding had stopped, nothing was wrong, cervix close, ive ONLY spotted after the pap and internal ultrasound since, So i feel everything is ok, but not knowing whats going on an the feeling that no doctor cares enough to look makes me mad

I already didn't like your doc, but now I dislike him even more. I agree, sounds like a "wacko." Tubals are so dangerous! And even if it's highly unlikely with the sac in the uterus, if he has any reason to believe you might be that one-in-however-many, he needs to get it figured out. Boo @ your doc.

If you start to bleed at all GET TO THE ER RIGHT AWAY!!
I had a ectopic a few months ago but the baby implanted in my cervix not my tube so with the ultrasound it didn't look so bad and dangerous so we were waiting it out as my betas were good.
I was cooking dinner and lost a ton of blood right there in the kitchen and then came the golfball sized clots. Husband rushed me to the ER and lucky he did, otherwise I could have died from blood loss. They kept me in the hospital as they were that concerned and were debating a blood transfusion.
Either way demand an ultrasound tonight. I am so sorry you are going through all of this and I am sorry for your loss. ((Hugs))

We know we have a sac in the uterus, but I have a 2 1/2cm cyst on my right ovary that he thinks COULD be a twin that implanted in the tube. The only times I have very lightly spotted was right after the pap smear and the vaginal ultrasound. The worst thing is Im at home alone everyday from 8am-9pm since my husband works an hour away, and they arent getting that i NEED to know if its ectopic or not, they just keep pushing the waiting game

PLEASE DO NOT GET A D&C until you are far enough that there should be a heart beat. I was rushed into my D&C and wish I would have waited it out.
I had bleeding at 5w 4d with my daughter and 2 weeks later there was a HB and she just had her 3rd birthday.
I would find a new DR right away even if there is a waiting list get on it and even if you do lose the baby still go see them because at that point you will be an established patient and in the future they can get you in right away.
With my old DR I had spotting and called and with in the hour I was in the office and had a ultra sound. I ended up swapping because I had a bad birth experiance with the DR and hospital. But my new DR will do blood when ever I call in and ask no questions just does it.

Good luck.. I hope it is not ectopic. By the way, unless you have TWO cysts and I missed you saying that somewhere, having a cyst on the ovary is normal in pregnancy.. in fact it's required.. it's your corpus luteum and it produces progesterone until the 13th week.
Off topic here but tt really bugs me when doctors are so dumb that they don't know or remember the corpus luteum.. During both miscarriages, doctors, techs and nurses all felt the need to point out the "cyst" on my ovary - DUH

Well that was the longest 4 hours of my life. Ill make this short an simple My HCG is now 7821 which means taking my first one on the 25th and timing them they doubled every 2.9ays well in the range. We saw the yolk sac tonight on u/s which I thought the girl said we did on Tuesday but it wasent there tuesday. The dr and 2 ultrasoun techs say there is a VERY slim chance that the cyst on my right ovary is a ectopic pregnany. I go for the ultrasoun on the 4th an praying to see fetal pole and heart beat
