Hugs I wish I had some answers for you. I know it's super frustrating when we have no clue why our body is doing something and no way of fixing it without knowing.

*sigh* I'm sorry, Megan. Maybe it's implantation spotting??? I know you know your body best, but I also know how hard it can be to be hopeful for yourself because of the potential for letdown, so I'll just continue to be hopeful for you.

Megan, please don't count yourself out yet It could be implantation bleeding, or I remember reading that the progesterone suppositories can sometimes irritate the vagina/cervix and cause spotting. Still crossing everything that this is your month!

Thanks ladies...it's hard to be positive when the last 2 cycles it's done the same thing...I thought I had implantation spotting before too, but it wasn't...Nicole, I was wondering if maybe it could be from the progesterone irritating things in there...I guess we'll see...I'm going to try to forget about it...If the spotting continues i'm going to ask my doctor if we could do something else next cycle...I can't ever get pregnant if my body doesn't even get a chance to try...It's so depressing.

It might be the soy adding to it this time. Soy acts like estrogen in the body, women that have spotting usually have low progesterone, adding an estrogen like substance will make it like you still have estrogen dominance. SO, even though you are using the progesterone, you also added my estrogen, which basically puts you back at the ratio you had (estrogen to progesterone) before you took any medications.

does your spotting stop after a few days and then you get AF as usual?

I get spotting every month about 5 days before AF is due. without fail, i also got it the month i got my BFP (november) and thought for sure i was out... but i wasnt!

you may end up being surprised yet......

Is a lot of the progesterone leaking out? That is what happened to me so the pills were the better option.

My spotting usually starts, super light, with just a few specks when I wipe, but it doesn't really stop till AF comes...It starts like 7-9 days before I actually bleed (it gets heavier at around 10-11 dpo...Today it's actually specks of red mixed with CM, not the tan/pink that it has been in the past.

Missy, it's actually not leaking too bad! I don't even wear a pad at night, and I wake up dry...I do get some "creamy" stuff sometimes when I pee (sorry TMI)....which I think is just maybe the wax stuff coming out, but even so it's not too much...It's hard to say because my CM is so heavy since I started the progesterone, but if I had to guess i'd say it's not leaking a lot.

I guess i'll just wait and see what happens the rest of the week...I might call my doctor by friday if i'm not pregnant and the spotting doesn't stop.

That's why she was giving me the progesterone...I had it tested and she said it was low but not too low...She also mentioned something about trying clomid, maybe if the progesterone doesn't work? I don't know, i'll call her...I started charting again in September when I got my first AF after my miscarriage in August, and my cycle was very normal...Then the next month when we started TTC it did the spotting at 5 dpo, and then the month after too...I don't think this is from my miscarriage though if in september my cycle was very normal...:brickwa ll:

Oh how I love google lol

From what I read it's common for the progesterone to cause spotting, from irritating the cervix...I hope that's all it is! Especially since the spotting was specks of red and not tan/pink which is how the spotting usually starts for me....Just thought i'd let anyone know in case they spot from it too!
