This is my first month using soy. And I am curious, did anyone notice a longer period when using it? I don't remember reading that as a side effect. I am usually a long bleeder anyway. I generally have seven days from start (which is heavy immediately, no spotting here) and then by day five it is lighter and by day seven, it is that brownish end blood, just spots.

But here I am today, on a full day seven (since my period started in the AM) and I am bleeding like no other. Just like day 1-2-3-4. And I am irritable, which I did expect (since I have heard that before). Tonight is my last night on it (days 3-7), so I hope that my period stops soon. But I just wondered if anyone had experienced that before?

Thanks in advance.

I'm one of the ones who just tried soy, haven't had AF yet, and if I'm lucky I won't see her at all No advice, but I'm expecting her in exactly a week if she's planning on coming.

I am worried I overdid it I took 120mg, three pills that were 40mg each. I heard that 80mg was the lowest dose, so I figured it would be fine to take 120mg. I am wondering if I am really screwing myself up. Hopefully not. It could just be a wonky period, I have had them before. I was just wondering if it was more than a coincidence that the bleeding was long this time and the soy was involved.

I just started and I didn't notice that . . . but I started with a lower dose. AF was actually shorter than usual, but I've been exercising a lot more and I just figured that was why.

Okay, bleeding is done this morning (or on it's "7th" day). I am thinking was just a coincidence afterall. Since my period was not signifcantly longer. I guess we will see what happens now. Thanks ladies.
